“Are you crazy for God sake?” my mom was yelling at me from the bottom of her lungs, the next morning. “What do you mean you are going to visit him?”
“Mom, I have decided; I have to see him again” I burst into tears, even though I was tending to keep calm. “I love him” I whispered.
“Don't be silly Jennifer. You are way too young to feel a real love” She said as she was whipping the dust from an old dark red book.
“Please mom! Please just let me go” I suddenly cried it out.
“And Alex? I thought you loved him…” She asked me with a voice of confusion.
“I did too.. I guess I was wrong” I said as I took a deep breath. “It is complicated” I added when I saw her eyebrow rising.
After a minute of deathly silence she finally uttered
“Fine go! But be back till 9 pm otherwise you will sleep on the lawn”
With a grin of pleasure plastered on my face, I ran up the stairs to get ready for my meeting with John.
I was trying out a lot of combination, but the one I found the most beautiful was black denim jeans and beige t-shirt with English flag printed on it.
My heart literally skipped beats as I thought of John. I was willing to see him, to feel his smell, to touch his hair, to kiss his soft, full lips…

I rushed through the door, carrying a small backpack on my shoulder. I honestly do not know why I did, but I had to put it in, my white, “I love NY” hoody. I was meeting Corry on the corner of the street, where Alex was usually hanging out with his ‘friends’. I was praying not to see him, but the lack of luck I had, made the opposite thing, so I bumped into him.
“Babe, where are you going?” He insisted on talking with me, as his friends were giggling in the background.
He came close to me, literally breathing in my neck and whispered
“I love you”
He did not give up which was going on my nerves! Why? Why did he hook up with Brittney if he loved me? What was he trying to prove?
“Hey gorgeous” Corry acclaimed me; his look froze when he saw Alex next to me.
“Let's go Jenny” He said as he pulled my hand.
“You are now dating him? Come on! You can do so much better than him” Alex yelled and kicked the little rock on the street.
“What did he want from you?” Corry asked me, when we moved away.
“I don't know and I honestly do not care” I said trying to change the subject.
“You are happy ha?” Corry started teasing me.
I nodded and smiled. I did! After all I've been trough I did! I felt like I'm the happiest person alive!
We went to the bus station and got into an old red bus which was going to the part of the city where we can get a taxi. I found really disturbing the sour look the people in the bus gave to us. I tried not to panic but I was afraid. I felt that Corry was upset too; he wrapped his arm around my waist so I could feel more secure; unfortunately it didn't helped me.
The big houses were now turned into malls and high buildings. We were in the center of the city; the bus was rushing forward, going through every hole in the motorway; I couldn't breathe. Inside the bus was getting hotter and hotter and the smell was disgusting. I plunged my nose in Corry's blue shirt and took big breath. I stayed like that for a while and closed my eyes. The next thing I heard was Corry's voice saying
