This was the third time I had to save this human.
When will I get a break?

This was the seventh time I had to come out here to save this human. It's almost like he wanted to die.
I looked at the scene in front of me. The injector in the Kindergarten fell and almost crushed the human but I sliced it in half.
"What the hell...when something is about to crush you move out the way"
"Sorry it's just-"
"You don't have to give me excuses"
He paused then looked down.
As much as I hate saving him from his self I can't stand to see him sad.
"I know that I can't stop you from adventuring into the depths unknown to your species but can you just be a little more careful" I said in a friendly tone
"Yeah sure" He replied shyly
"Well don't you want to explore more, that journal you are writing in isn't going to write itself"
The human looked up at me with shock then it turned into confusion.
"I thought you didn't want me to explore anymore"
"No I didn't say that"
"I don't know I don't want to bother you"
"You won't I insist"

When will I get a break?
I found out that this human is named Jamie.
I also found out this is the worst mistake of my life.
"We are almost there" He chirped
"Yay" I said sarcastically
How isn't he tired.
We were currently walking in the dessert for a pyramid. Hours went pass since we left the Kindergarten yet it felt like decades. The sound of feet crushing the sand replayed itself over and over again as I was prepared to lose my sanity. Jamie was sweating but he wasn't letting up.
"Maybe we should take a rest"
Jamie turned around.
"Are you tired"
I stared at him before getting flustered.
"No..i-it's that I-" I paused when I realized I was stuttering
"Are you sure because you look flustered"
He walked to me for a closer inspection followed by him placing his hand on my forehead. I stared down trying to avoid eye contact.
"Here drink this"
"Gems don't need water"
"Well I know you don't need it mentally but you will need it physically"
I took a sip of the drink after taking the water bottle from him.
"Feeling better"
I nodded.
I've never seen this before.
Gem caring for human but human caring for gem is a whole new subject.
"So how look is it before we get there"
"Soon, be patient"
