She is a pearl. I am a quartz. This is wrong.

Communication was rare between a quartz solider and a pearl. Even if it did happen, It wouldn't be like this. This is wrong.
Our location was currently in a cabin located in the woods. I had to watch Pearl since Rose went out with the other Pearl to go find more evidence of Blue Diamond being on this planet. We talked a lot but never did it in front of anyone. She knew it was wrong and I knew it was wrong yet it was so tempting.
"Why don't you just tell them you ran away from Blue Diamond"
"I just don't want to tell them" She spoke shyly
"Why"
"Please Y/N I don't want to say it"
I glanced the other way when I heard door crack open. Pearl came in with her sword in hand. She must've been listening to us.
"Why did you come here" She said nonchalantly
"Pearl, what are you do-"
"Keep quiet Y/N, my diligence is not in your consideration right now"
Pearl's eyes looked different like they had no life in them. She looked drained from having to do all that work.
"I'll say it one more time, why are you here"
Blue Pearl kept her mouth closed. Without a second thought, Pearl placed her sword close to Blue Pearl's gem.
"Speak or you will be broken"
I hated when Pearl got like this. Every time we captured a hostage she would get aggressive. Personally, I was a victim of this side when I first joined the team. The terrible part is that I can't do anything but watch.
My eyes were averted to something else. Hearing her get cracked is one thing, seeing it is a whole different thing. I've heard and seen gems get cracked all the time yet I still can't get used to it. My stomach churned just thinking about it. There was a gasp that came from Blue Pearl before she spoke a small sentence.
"I ran away from my Diamond"
Pearl's eyes were narrowed like a lion when it found its prey. I blinked to find Pearl's eyes had softened.
"Why did you run away"
"I wanted to see more"
That lie was caught in a matter of two seconds by me, I kept my mouth closed. One thing I learned from talking to Pearl is that whenever she lies the tension change in the air.
Pearl preceeded to walk out the room.
".....I never seen anyone get away with lying like that"
"Well it was true somewhat"
