Twelve

I spat the blood that was in my mouth to the floor looking at the guy who stood in front of me.

"If you just handed the asshole you call your husband over to us then this would stop" he said looking fed up.

I stare at him before spitting the blood from my mouth in his face. He wipes his face on his jacket before smacking me hard across the face causing me to groan out in pain.

"Remove her top" Jake instructed walking in holding his phone in his hand, I looked at him as my hands was untied and my top pulled roughly over my head thrown to the floor a few feet from me. "You probably been told a dozen times now that if you just hand Jon over this would all stop" Jake said watching as I was tied back up hands above my head I stood in just my bra and jeans.

"You want my husband so bad go get him, you know where we live" I replied staring at him, before spitting blood from my mouth again.

"I would do that but your daughter is there, I don't want her in the crossfire" Jake informed me. "Now Miss, I'm giving you one last opportunity to get Jon to me or I will make you pay"

I looked over my shoulder seeing the guy who still had my blood splattered over his face standing behind me.

"I'm not setting Jon up" I told them all my voice was firm even though inside I was a screaming wreck.

"Do it" Jake ordered his man I felt a burning pain hit my back as the guy whipped me with a plastic cable.

I screamed out in agony as my back burned and stung from the impact,
"Again" Jake ordered I felt the impact and I screamed out even louder as it made contact again.

"So Peyton" Jake asked me "what's it going to be?"

"Ring Jon" I cried "but let me speak to him" I cried as my back hurt from being whipped.

"Good girl I knew you would see sense" he said stepping over wiping the tears from my face.

He dialled Jon's number that I gave to him and he put the phone to my ear but on speaker so he could here.

"Hello" I heard Jon's voice causing my heart to race at the sound.

"Baby" I cried, I tried to hold in tears but I couldn't the sound of Jon's voice just set me off.

"Peyton, you okay? where are you?" Jon asked me in a panic.

"Jon I want you to listen to me carefully" I said looking at Jake who held the phone up to my ear "take Maddy and run, just go!" I yelled as the phone was pulled from my ear and I screamed out in agony as I got whipped again then again.

I stood there trying to focus on what Jake was saying to Jon but I couldn't the pain from being whipped was to much and I just stood there sobbing at the pain.

"Get her down" Jake said "she's done" He said walking out the room.

I lift my head seeing Jake leaving the room wondering what he meant by 'she's done'
