Jon PoV

Hearing Peyton screaming down the phone in agony, I sent anger through my body, and I didn't know what to do. Jake gave me an ultimatum. I either hand myself over to them within twenty-four hours or his going to kill Peyton and send her head to me.

I threw my phone down in frustration, turning to see Debi and Norman and Maddy all staring at me.

"I'm going to get Peyton back," I said, walking past them to get my jacket.

"What? Are you crazy?" Debi said in disbelief."You have already said they want you dead, " she reminded me.

"If I don't go, he will." I looked at Maddy, not being able to finish off my sentence.

"Just let the police handle it," Norman suggested. "They know what they're doing."

"Don't make me laugh, Norm," I chuckled, picking up my keys and phone off the side. "They don't have a clue where to start, but me, I do,"

I walk past kissing Maddy on the head, walking to the door.

"Jon, your daughter, she needs you," Debi called, trying to get me to stay.

"She needs her mom too," I said, looking back over my shoulder  "stay by the phone, I will call," I said, taking one last look at them all.

I drove out of town heading for the area I went to knowing that I'd find at least one person who could help me by handing over some information on Jake Casco, and thankfully as I drove I saw Oscar strolling down the street.

I pulled over up the road a little and waited for him to get closer. Before getting out, he took one look at me before turning around running.

I ran after him, and when he was close enough, I tackled him to the ground.

"What's up, Jonny boy?" Oscar breathed heavily. "I didn't see you there,"

"Stop with the bullshit," I said, looking down on him. "You know full well why I'm here, Jake has Peyton."

"What's that got to do with me?" Oscar asked

"You got us in the situation, and you bud, you're getting us out of it," I informed him sternly as I pulled him up off the ground.

"Alright, but we need to make a stop first," Oscar said as we walked back to my truck.

Oscar gave me directions as I drove, and we eventually pulled up at a small house.

"If you have set me up in any way, I swear that you will be losing too," I warned him as I looked at him.

"No dude, this is where I'm staying," he said, getting out the truck, I got out following him inside the house, which I quickly noticed was tidy.

"You live with your mom or something?" I questioned him as he pulled out a big bag from a cupboard in the hallway.

"At the moment, yeah," he nodded as he unzipped the bag, causing my eyes to go wide. When I saw what was inside, the bag was full of guns.

"You crazy motherfucker" I said picking up one of the pistols looking it over releasing the clip seeing it was loaded.

"Yeah I am" he said taking a pistol out the bag putting it in the back of his jeans "I'm helping you get your wife back and I'm not doing this unarmed, especially with you having a bullseye on your back" he added as I put the gun in my waistband of my jeans nodding agreeing with his comment.

We sat in the car outside Oscars and I sat in silence for a second thinking over my next move.

"So Jonny, what's the plan" Oscar said lighting a cigarette giving me a cigarette I take it and I light it.

"Figuring that out, I have twenty two hours, what I want is for this to plan to work out so me and Peyton go home to our daughter" I explained "just can't think how" I said taking a puff of the cigarette.

"If you get Peyton back, Jake will come after you he needs to be the out the picture" Oscar reminded me causing me to nod my head in agreement.

"We need to set him up" I said starting the engine "like Elliot"

As I drove Oscar made some phone calls to some of the guys he knew and gets some information that was going to be extremely handy to us, Jake had a big drug trade going off just on the outskirts of the county we was in, which was taking place at nine o'clock tonight.

Luckily for us it was with guys that's Oscar knew and trusted as his brother was part of the group.

"You up for doing this man?" I asked him as I held my phone in my hand ready to make the call "your practically handing your own brother over to the police" I reminded him.

"Yeah" he nodded "I put your wife in this situation I've got to get her out of it" he nodded

I looked at him nodding as i rung Norman who quickly answered the phone.

"Hey Norman is that detective at ours by any chance? I think I've found a way of getting Peyton back.
