It's been a month since my father had told me Eric was out of jail. Eric had tried to make contact with me through text message, apologizing for everything he had done, he blamed it on the drugs.

I still wanted no part of him and neither did Lucas.

Lucas and I haven't spent a night apart since before our trip to London. The construction team that was building our new house had informed us that it should be done within the next few days or so, as long as nothing went wrong

Lucas insisted on buying all new furniture for the new house, so today we were going shopping.

We drove to the next town over to a furniture store. We picked out a brown leather sectional and a few recliner chairs to match. Solid oak end tables, an entertainment center with a big electric fireplace build in, and a large area rug.

For the kitchen we got top of the line appliances, and a big oak table to go in the dining room.

Lucas picked out the bedroom furniture, A huge oak bed with two matching dressers and a large armoire.

When we left the furniture store Lucas drove us back to town.

"My mother owns millers flowers and crafts, I know you like that Americana stuff so you can go pick out decorations."

I smiled at Lucas, I absolutely loved shopping for crafts. And with our new house being a cabin, I wanted it to have some southern charm.

When we pulled up in front of Lou's store Lucas and I got out of the car, he pulled the door open for me to walk into the store, everything smelled like pumpkin spice. I was in love. Everything looked hand crafted.

While Lucas sat at the counter talking to Lou, I shopped, when I found something I wanted Lucas would come get it and carry it to the front of the small shop.

When I was finished after an hour of shopping, Lou ring up our items and gave us both hugs.

"I will have everything delivered by tomorrow." Lou said before Lucas and I walked out of the shop.

When we got back to Lucas's house, I went to the kitchen and got out some food for hammy, I brought him here when I started staying here every night. He was an inside cat most of the time now, he was always glued to me.

"We will go shopping again after we move into the new house." Lucas said.

"You have already spent so much on this."

"You know I make more then we could ever spend anyway, babe." Lucas said, giving me a serious look.

I let it drop and went into the kitchen to do the dishes and start dinner. Lucas sat in the living room and watched a football game.

After we ate and I cleaned up the dinner dishes Lucas went outside to smoke, after I wiped the kitchen counters and the table off I walked out the back door to join him.

"Eric keeps trying to text me." Lucas said.

I shook my head, why would he be trying to contact Lucas? Eric knew that neither of us wanted no part of him.

When we finished smoking we went inside, for the rest of the night we lay on the couch and watched movies.

"The contractor just e-mailed me, all that is left to do at the house is paint and lay the floors."

"I can't believe how quick they got it done." I said, turning in Lucas's arms to look at him.

"I'm going to go over tomorrow and help. Hopefully it will be done by tomorrow night and we can start packing."

I smiled, I was happy move into our new house, Lucas had planned on letting Gabe and Abby move into this one, but we hadn't told them yet. It was going to be a wedding gift to the both of them from Lucas.

When we decided to go up to bed, I was already half asleep. Lucas carried me up the steps and into his bedroom.

When I woke up the next morning, Lucas was already gone. The clock on the nightstand shown that it was almost 12:00 in the afternoon.

I got up and got a shower, i dressed in a pair of jeans and a tank top with a mossy oak hoodie over top of it and went downstairs to make myself something to eat.

I stood in the kitchen, sipping coffee when I herd a light knock on the door. I sat my cup down and went to answer it.

"Anna?" How the hell did she get here?

"Is Lucas home?"

I stepped outside and pulled the door shut behind me, the concrete patio was so cold on my feet, but I wasn't letting this woman into Lucas's house.

"How did you find him?"

Anna looked down and started pulling at the buttons on her jacket.

"It wasn't hard, really. All I had to do was use a computer to find him."

"He's not here. He won't be back for a while." I said.

"Well, I'll wait here."

I narrowed my eyes at her and pushed the door open behind me, I slipped inside the door and closed it. I ran up the steps to Lucas's bedroom and pulled my phone off the charger.

Come home, Anna just showed up at the door.

I texted as I jogged back down the steps, I froze at the door when I seen Anna's face peering through the glass.  When she seen me she backed away.

I slipped on a pair of boots I had laying I front of the door and stepped back outside, Lucas pulled into the driveway.
