The next morning I sat up in the kitchen, ed and Lou had ended up spending the night here, everybody was still asleep. Tonight Lucas had to go to a company event to celebrate the 5th year of his multi million dollar business.
I didn't really like dressing up, tonight was really going to suck because of the cold weather, but I couldn't exactly wear jeans to a black tie event.
I sipped on my coffee, I looked through the glass doors leading out back and noticed hammy waiting for me to let him in. I got up and walked over to the door, I cracked it a little so he could come in then closed it.
When I turned around Lucas was leaning against the wall watching me, he was shirtless, his messy hair looked so sexy.
Hammy reminded me of his presence by twirling himself around my legs, I got some kitty food out and sat it down for him to dig in.
Lucas walked over to me and hugged me from behind, he put his lips to my neck. "I love you." He mumbled between kisses. I turned in his arms and kissed his lips. "And I love you."
"Prove it." He grinned.
"How?"
"Make me some pancakes." He whispered.
I laughed and pushed him backwards and went to the cabinet to get out the ingredients I needed for Lucas's pancakes.
I made enough for everybody, ed and lou joined us just as the last pancake was cooked. After we all ate, ed and Lou went upstairs to gather their things. After they left I decided to go get a new dress for tonight.
It took me an hour to pick out a long white dress, it showed off my cleavage, and had off the shoulder straps to hold it up. The back of the dress was open all the way down to the small of my back.
I picked out a pair of simple black heels to go with it, when I was finished at the dress store I made my way to one of Lucas's salons to have my hair, nails and makeup done.
When I was almost done I texted Lucas to let him know, it was almost 3:00 in the afternoon now and shortly after I got home we would have to leave for Lucas's event.
The drive home took me about 45 minutes, I got my new dress and shoes out of the back and went in the house.
Lucas was upstairs getting dressed, I went up to change into my dress, he stood in the middle of the room fixing his bow tie.
I walked past him to the bathroom, I stripped my clothes off, careful not to mess up my hair and makeup. I stood in nothing but my black lace thong, Lucas eyed me from the bedroom.
I looked at him over my shoulder, he straightened his figure and gave me an intense look. A loud ringing broke his stare, he put his phone to his ear. I slipped my dress on and touched up my lipstick.
"The car will be here in 5."
I nodded and checked my makeup again before I walked back into the bedroom and slipped my heels on.
Lucas looked at his phone again then led me downstairs and out the door. The driver of our car got out and walked around to open the back door for us, I slid in then Lucas.
The driver closed the door behind us and got back in the drivers side. Lucas gave him a address and a black window separates us from the driver.
"Are you ready to be the center of attention?" Lucas asked.
"What?"
"Paparazzi, they are going to be there. And it's my celebration, so people will be coming up to us all night."
