Our Wedding (Calen)

Arlo and I stayed out on that little island he found for three days mating, bonding and becoming one. We decided that once we returned to the family that we would get married. He insisted we be married before he became pregnant. I was more then happy to do whatever he wanted. The pack was not happy we disappeared like we did but Mom, Dad, my grandparents, Maxie and Josh all stood beside us. Most of the pack backed down there was a couple who challenged me for Alpha. Arlo wanted to stand at my side.

"No my sweet I must take this challenge alone if I don't the pack will never except me fully as a alpha" I smiled at him. Happy he showed he was willing to stand at my side no matter what.

"But Cal they're challenging us both We're partners in everything. I cant just stay to the side and watch" he said. He stated calling me Cal while we were on the island. He had a point we are partners.

"He has a point Calen, even me as your beta should be able to have your back. Double so for your mate" Maxie said. I looked back at my family all agreeing with her. I looked at my love my partner and knew his place was at my side and mine was at his. We took on the challenge together though he back down toward the end and let me finish it. I didn't kill the two even though it was in my right to do so. I just banished them from the pack.

"By the way we've decided we would like to get married tomorrow" I smiled turning and wrapping one arm around Arlo's waist he smiled and wrapped one arm around my shoulders he was taller then me. As Geo and a couple of other guards excourted the two off the pack territory.

"We figured as much so went ahead and got everything ready" Dad said smiling with pride well my whole family was.

*Next day*

Arlo and I spent the first night since we've been together apart what was surprising that Geo and the rest of the guards took Arlo out. Apparently he and Geo had become good friends. My family took me out the whole point was to keep us away from each other.

Now here I stood with my whole family waiting for Arlo. I was wearing a black tux with white shirt and tie. I saw Arlo coming into view wearing a white tux with a black shirt and tie. The way his wings layed made it look like he wore a cape of feathers. His long hair that had changed color since he came here was now golden color matching his eyes.  Our wedding was short and sweet. Dad being the last Alpha performed it.

"Calen Nathaniel Night, Alpha of the Northern pack do you take Arlo Rhain as your husband and partner to keep him at your side no matter what" Dad asked.

"I do" I smiled

"Arlo Rhain, Lieutenant of the air core do you take Calen Night as your husband and partner to keep him at your side no matter what" Dad asked.

"With my honor" he smiled. I had to chuckle I loved the way he spoke. It reminded me of all those knights in shining armor romance books I had read.

"I love you my knight" I said

"And I love you my shifter" he said

"I pronounce you husbands and partners you may kiss" dad laughed we had added that last part last second. We kissed of course fighting for dominance over each other neither of us was willing to give in this time. This is why we asked dad to add the partners because Arlo was my equal and I was his. Eventually we pulled apart everyone cheered. We all celebrated after.
