Deciding Names (Arlo)

Both Calen and I are getting closer to having our babies. We've been discussing names but really haven't settled on any. Maxie and Josh had returned yesterday so we were sitting in the office getting them caught up. They are handling the pack while Cal and I are recovering and spending at least 6 weeks with the babies before either of us return to work.

"So do you know what your having" Maxie asked.

"Arlo is having a boy. The one I'm carrying no we don't know yet" Calen answered.

"A son how sweet, do you have names yet" she asked

"No" I answered. Watching Josh he was acting weird. "What is your problem" I asked him at my breaking point I did not like the way he glared at me and Calen. Now Maxie and Calen were watching him.

"Nothing" He answered.

"Then why are you shooting dirty looks at me and Cal" I asked standing I may have a very round belly but I could still protect My Cal and our babies. He stood just as quick and got right in my face.

"You really want to know. It's the fact you two fags are pregnant" he shouted. I wasn't exactly sure what the word fag meant but knew it was bad.

"Josh" Maxie said shocked. She was the last person I expected to get between me and Josh and defend me.  "How dare you say such a nasty thing. Calen has been nothing but gracious to you excepting you into the pack. Even allowing us to take 3 months off to go see your family, and I know for a fact Arlo hasn't done anything to you to deserve you saying anything about their relationship. It's not their fault I can't get pregnant. It is anyone's" she said He huffed and stormed out.

"Max" Cal asked now she was in tears. I pulled her into a hug.

"Talk to us Sis" I said.

"We found out while we were away. I thought I was pregnant but I wasn't while we were seeing the fox doctor he informed us I would never be able to carry a child. I'm so sorry he called you guys that nasty word" she answered crying into my shirt. Cl came over and hugged her also.

"Please don't Cry Sis, we will help you all we can" He said softly.

"Your not going to banish Josh from the pack" she asked looking at him tears streaming down her face.

"Why would I do that. Because he called us a word we don't like. If I did that then he wouldn't be the only one. Hell Kela called me Meany a few days ago because I would pick her up or let Arlo. He didn't threaten either of us with bodily harm so no I won't banish him. Besides even if he did I know for a fact Arlo could kick his ass even pregnant, but I would rather he didn't. So go talk to him. We're going to go get something to eat and take a nap. We'll talk later ok" Cal smiled.

"Ok" she half smiled dried her face and went.

"Calm down Daddy we're all fine I know Max would never let anything happen to us even if she has to stand up against her own mate she would" he whispered hugging me.

"I know, anyways let's go eat your son is starving" I said and we went. I did see Maxie and Josh sitting under a near by tree. He looked to be crying.

"Have you thought of any names yet" I asked trying to distract myself from the idiot.

"Actually I was thinking of Carleigh Elizabeth for a girl" he said rubbing his belly. Even thought we didn't know for sure he was convinced he was carrying a girl. I secretly hoped he was then we would have a son and a daughter.

"That's a very beautiful name what about our son" I smiled.

"You should chose since I chose a girl name" He smiled.

"I've have been wondering how you would feel if we used my sir name" I asked

"As a first name or last" he asked.

"Either just I would like my name to carry on after I'm gone"

"Rhain Night" He said.

"Rhain Nathaniel Wolfe Night" I corrected

"I love it" He smiled.

"And how about Carleigh Elizabeth Silver Night" I asked I knew he family was important to him as much as they were to me.

"Have I told you lately how much I love you Arlo Rhain" he smiled

"Everyday, but tell me again all the same" I laughed and kissed his sweet lips

"You are the greatest husband anyone could ask for and I love you more then anything. Well almost everything" He chuckled rubbing his and my belly.

"Back at you Calen Night" I smiled.
