Sick (Calen)

I still couldn't believe that both Arlo and I are pregnant and only like three days apart from each other. I wasn't having a easy as time as Arlo was. I have been sick the past three days where as Arlo wasn't sick at all. We were both now showing Doc says because they are both Alpha babies they will grow quickly. We were both were due in three more months. Today mom and dad was handling alpha duties do to everytime I tryed to get up and move I would line up pucking everything I had tryed to eat. So Arlo made me stay in bed. He was sitting next to me rubbing my belly.

"Is there anything I can get you" he asked for the billionth time.

"Some ice water" I answered it was about the only thing I could hold down. Doc was coming to see me when she had the chance. There was some sort of cold going around. He went and came back with the water.

"How are you feeling" I asked slowly sitting up enough so I could drink the water.

"I'm fine Cal, would you please stop worrying about me" he sighed.

"No can do my love" I said rubbing his belly.

"We're fine I promise. Just worried about you two" he said rubbing my belly.

"I think I might of just caught whatever that's going around. I'm sure we'll be fine" I smiled.

"I'm sure also but your not leaving our room until Doctor Rose says you can" he said leaning over and kissing me. Just then there was a knock on the main door. He went and answered.

"Hello Calen" Doc smiled as she came in Arlo right behind her. She had some sort of machine with her.

"Hey Doc, what's that" I asked.

"It a ultrasound machine it will allow us to see your baby and maybe Arlo will allow us to see the baby he's carrying"she said. He was weird about anyone touching him but me. I gave him my puppy dog look I knew he couldn't say no to.

"Don't give me that look Cal. I was already going to say yes because I'm curious about seeing both our babies" he said. Trying to look everywhere but me.

"Anyways let's give you a check up first and then we can see the babies" Doc said. She gave me a check up.

"Ok I think you have the same thing as everyone else plus what is called morning sickness, I can" Arlo cut her off.   "What do you mean morning sickness he's been sick all day for the past three days" he asked alittle anger it was rare he got angry.

"Calm down Dad, that's just what it's called but it can happen anytime during the day and can even be all day. The cold that's going around is making to worse. I was about to say I can give him something to help with the nausea and vomiting" she said. She was so calm. I reached over and took his hand in mine.

"She's good at what she does she's taken care of the pack for many years she learned from her mom who delivered me, I trust her" I said when he looked at me.

"Kela was the first baby I delivered" she smiled at him.

" Let's see our babies" he said. She pulled the machine out of its bag it took a few minutes to get it hooked up to the TV we had in our room well Arlo moved it in here so I could watch something.

"Ok dads we're ready to see these babies, who are we seeing first" she said.

"Calen" Arlo said I wasn't going to argue with him. He was still worried about me and the baby I carried. She spread cold blue gel stuff on my belly and then smeared it around with a wand looking thing. Watching the odd looking thing on the screen.

"There we go there's your sweet baby and I only see one. He or she looks very healthy for a two month old baby" she said pointing out our baby on the screen I could definitely tell he or she was a baby his or her little face was very noticeable.

"Can you tell the sex yet" Arlo asked.

"I might be able to if he or she wasn't crossing their legs" she smiled.

"I don't want to know yet anyways" I said.

"Oh ok then shall we see the other baby" Doc said cleaned the gel off my belly. I was actually able to move and sit in the chair that Arlo was sitting in.

"Are you ok" he asked as he layed down.

"Yes, now no spoilers on either sex ok" I said

"Yes love" he smiled.

"You two are to cute" Doc giggled. Putting the blue gel on Arlo's stomach he flinched.

"Thats cold" he said.

"Sorry but I has to be cold for the machine to work properly, anyways the baby your carrying is a bit larger then the one Calen is carrying, but that to be expected considering He or she is the next Alpha and Arlo is a few days farther along. She said she didn't have to point this one out nor did she have to tell us the sex he was showing everything he had.

"Apparently he is shy either. Is he healthy" Arlo asked.

"Yes he is very healthy" she laughed. Then cleaned Arlo up and started putting the machine away. He was up and making me lay down just as quick.

"You said you had some medicine for me" I sighed I was tired of laying in bed all day and wanted to get up and do something.

"Yes here take one when you feel nauseous in a few days it should go away if it doesn't I'll give you more. Can't give you what I gave the other with this cold do to it might harm the baby" she said handing me a bottle of pills.

"Thanks Doc..keep Dad informed on the cold that's going around" I said

"I will and would like to see you both again in four weeks if you don't come sooner that is" she said.

"Ok Doctor good bye" Arlo said practically pushing her out.

"Hey that was rude" I said.

"I will apologize later right now I want to enjoy our healthy babies with my husband" he smiled and snuggled next to me.
