Delivery Day (Calen)

I can't believe one of my babies are almost here Arlo has been in labor all morning, Even though he swears it isn't painful I know other wise. We were so close that I could  feel some of what he was feeling. We were waiting on Doc to come in had decided to  hire another doctor  to help out poor Doctor Rose was spread thin. By some miracle  the new doctor  who came from another pack just happened to be her mate and he had a lot of knowledge on pregnancy of all kinds. He was even able to help Josh and Maxie. The only thing was Josh lined up having to carry their baby instead of Maxie since she couldn't. He did apologize to me and Arlo for what he had said. He said it out of disappointment and anger and really didn't mean it. Maxie made him be our "Gopher" you know go for this go for that. He was only about a week along now. I was happy we were able to help them. We hadn't  told anyone the names we had chosen, and we knew for sure I was carrying a girl.  Arlo pleaded with me to find out I had to give in. Anything to make him happy.

"Hello Daddies, shall we have a baby today Doctor Sam Jewel asked cheerfully  as he came in. Arlo groaned in pain. Doc was aware he had female parts as well as male. Sam and Molly were the only other two that knew. She also came in with clean towels and everything else you can think of for delivering a baby.

"Ok Arlo relax let's take a look at you and see how much your dilated" Sam said Arlo sorta growled at him but he was having a contraction at the same. That one was so powerful I felt it.

"Calen are you in labor also" Molly asked.

"No just feeling his labor pains" I answered.

"Can I check just to be sure" she asked as Sam  worked on Arlo.

"Don't leave me" he pleaded.

"I won't I promise I frowned. We had this room special set up for one at a time. Molly quickly left and returned with another bed and put it right beside the bed he was laying in. I layed down and let her give me a check up.

"Umm,Calen hun your in labor" she said.

"What I can't be I'm not due for another three days" I said worried.

"Well I guess she decided she wants to come now" she said. I had to have a C-section. So she began getting everything ready for that. I reached over and held Arlo's hand.

"Have someone call Meya" He said. Molly went quickly while the numbing medicine did its job. It wasn't long after she returned. Then mom came in.

"Hello my boys, you asked for me" she asked.

"We're both in labor we were hoping you would help take care of the babies" I answered.

"Of course"she smiled. It wasn't long after both Rhain and Carleigh were born at the same time give or take a few seconds. I was tired and wanted to sleep but also want to hold my babies.

"They're beautiful. What's their names" mom asked I was holding Carleigh who looked alot like mom only with black hair and Arlo was holding Rhain. He look exactly like Arlo complete with the wings. Arlo answered I was barely able to hold my eyes open.

"Sleep love I'll be right here and won't let anything happen to our babies" Arlo whispered gently taking Carleigh from me.

"Love you three" I smiled and drifted off to sleep.
