Chapter 9: Planning My Sweet Sixteen:
It's October 13 and in ready to plan my sweet sixteen. Amy came over and we decided hat it should be on the beach. My mom called the hotel staff to reserve an overnight private beach party for me. Amy said that Carrie and Kate couldn't come because they were busy. That made me very disappointed, but that changed when she told me that she will work with the invites and that I don't have to worry.
Later on Amy and I went to the grocery store and we picked out foods for the party. We got a bunch of drinks, even though we didn't need that much. Amy seemed really excited, but I was nervous; my said she was going to stay with her sisters down in Florida for a week, so she won't be here for the party. I didn't really mind that because it's not like she was missing my actual birthday, right? Anyways I'm really nervousness because I've never actually thrown a party. My mom told me to be responsible and so that what I'm going to be.
It is one day till my party and Amy said she has it all under control. I got someone who works at the hotel to feed Maggie and Tiger while I'm gone. When the party ends a couple my my friends are staying overnight and we are having a sleepover on the beach. I just can't wait; my first real party.
