Chapter 6: Who's that

I was walking with Amy at the park, and Maggie, one afternoon. Then suddenly something caught my eye. My friend stopped and said, "What are you looking at?"

"Nothing," I said instantly

"It looks like your looking at Shane."

"Who?" I answered

"Shane Linikine, he's new to the hotel like you." Amy said

"Cool, maybe we should say hi," I replied

"Ok, let's go!" She said walking his way.

"Hi, I'm Amy and this is my friend Lacey"

"Hey, I'm Shane," he replied then took notice of me. Our eyes met and it felt like the world stopped.

Than I said, "Hi"

"Hi, Lacey," he replied

"So I heard your new at the hotel, I am too," I said

"Yeah, my mom is a waitress at Fancy food," he replied

"My mom does too!" I said with excitement

"Cool, maybe they know each other," he said

"Yeah probably, sorry but we have to go," Amy said with a grasp of my arm. I tried to say bye, but Amy pulled me away to fast.

The next day I called Amy and asked her if she wanted to go to the mall and she said she wants to go. She told me she wanted to go to the new man next to the hotel.

As soon as we arrived at the mall, we went to look at the directory. There was all of our favorite stores were there. First we went to our favorite shop, that my aunt owns, Lacey's clothes. She named it after me when I was three months old. When we got there we picked out some high-wasted shorts. Since my aunt owned the shop I got a card which let's me have anything I wanted for free! After we looked at the shorts we moved onto shirts. We found a really cute top ,but it was to short than I gave it a second Look and told my friend it would fit perfect with our high wasted shorts. After we were done shopping we changed into one of our new bathing suits and put a top and shorts over it and headed down to the beach.
