Chapter 3: Summer Moving
It's summer and my mom is taking me to Hawaii! I'm so excited, we get to swim at the beach every day! I hope we move there so that I can forget about my dad, who died a year and a half ago. It's different from being in New York. We are leaving in a couple days. My mom said we might move there, but she's still looking for a house. If we do move there I'm going to have my sweet sixteen party on the beach.
We have finally arrived in Hawaii and my mom told me that I could buy a surfboard and learn how to surf. We finally found a hotel by the beach and my mom is going to work there so we can live there. From this day on I am starting a new life in Hawaii.
Hawaii is beautiful and so is the hotel. It like a giant beach house with servants! I can go practice surfing in the morning and school is at the hotel. I have my own personal teacher that comes over every day from 10 to 11:30. My life is finally going back to normal.
My teacher has started coming. I love her; she is so nice. Sometimes she asks me if I want to go to the beach and do my lesson. Everything is perfect.
