Chapter 14: Everythings going right

Right now I can not wait for Christmas. I'm alone in my room and about to go to Acro lessons. I'm really nervous because it's my first time doing Acro, I did ballet but I'm still nervous. It's a lot of work but I think I can do it. In 2 months I'm going to tryout for the competition team. "Honey are you ready to go?" My mom said at the door,

"Yes mom" I said as I grabbed my bag and ran out.

"Ok class this your first day here and if you can do a cartwheel now I want you to know a front and side Ariel by the end of this year!" Our teacher said in a harsh voice. "What's your name?" She asked me,

"Lacey"

"Ok, can you do a cartwheel?"

"Yes m'am"

"Show me" and I did a cartwheel and she clapped, "That's a good cartwheel girls, thank you Lacey!" I nodded and listened to her continue to talk.

After Acro class, which was AMAZING, I went home and to take a nap because I was worn out. As I was laying down I heard something outside the room in the hallway so I left my room and started to listen outside the door.
"You don't understand I will get it so I just need a little more time" I heard a man with a soft voice say,

"TIME, I have given you time and you let me down, now you have to pay!"

"Please I have two daughters at home and a sick wife, just please think about what your doing, just plea...."

"I've heard enough!" And I heard some rattling,

"Please" and it sounded like he was being choked, so without another though I grabbed a vase opened the door and knocked out the guy who was choking him. The guy fell to the ground while the other on gasped for air and slowly took deep breaths,
"Thank you so much"

"I, I, what happened?"

"I owed him a little money and he didn't get it so he decided to try and take matters in to his own hands."

"What did you owe him money for?"

"He was to protect my daughters but I realize he ways the one I needed to protect them from." He said with a frown, he looked like he was in his twenties or early thirties with a bruise starting to for around his cheek bone,

"I'm going to call the police." I said grabbing the phone out of my pocket.
"Hello, hi I just found a guy getting choked by a man, yes uh huh,
Ok, Hawaii Paradise, yes, room 1124, ok thank you!" I hung up. This was another bad event, why does everything happen to me.
