Chapter 11

Clarys pov

I walked along side Isabelle, mingling her group with mine. It was interesting seeing the two together. Like worlds were somehow clashing, ugh it was giving me a headache.

"So Simon, how has it been at the Academy?" I asked him.
"Really great actually, I'm top of my class and Izzy's been staying there, while mentoring the other kids."
"Top of your class, huh?" I lowly whistled, impressed. "Good to know you haven't changed, you try hard!" I laughed.

He blushed and smiled at me. I was glad to know are relationship hadn't changed as much as I had. I could feel a stare locked on my back, so I turned and looked straight into the molten gold eyes of Jace. He held my state for a few moments before looking away. I looked across the group at Hunter, who was talking quietly with his mother.

I felt conflicted. I never expected to feel anything if I ever saw Jace again, but now I feel confused. I was so sure of my feelings for Hunter... No I'm with Hunter now, Jace cheated on me, and that's that. I shook my head to get those ever present thoughts out.

As we continued walking we came up to an older house. It looked very familiar, but I couldn't put my finger on how I knew it. Isabelle walked up to the house and knocked the brass colored knock.

"Isabelle, who's house is..." as the door swung open I gazed, at the one and only, Jocelyn Fray.

I've been gone for so long!😩😩 I finally found the inspiration to start this story again so you can expect to see a lot more chapters on the way!
