Authors Note (Please read!!!)

Hi Everyone! How is everything going?

I'm just gonna get straight to the point. This past year has probably been one of the hardest of the life. Between family, school, extra curricular stuff, and friends my life has been going non stop. I, unfortunately, haven't written much of anything except essays as of late. I want to apologize for my absence, for those of your who are been waiting for an update on betrayed, I'm planning to put chapter 13 up soon.

There are a few things that I need to address regarding the story. Firstly, I began writing this story in 2014. Yes, 2014, as in over five years ago (it's still wild to think about). Since I began this story, more books within the shadow hunter world have been released by the QUEEN of the ShadowWorld Cassandra Clare. When writing my story, I never anticipated that what I would write would have similarities to Cassie's books. For instance, one of my characters is named Sophia Collins. One of my dear readers made it known to me that there is a Sophia Collins in the infernal devices series and when I wrote that bit, I had no idea about it. Now that I have read all of the infernal devices, I do see some structure similarities and differences.

Just so that it is not as confusing, the world in which my story takes place is after the events of City of Heavenly Fire. In my book I left out the existence of Emma Castairs and Julian Blackthorn, as well as the rest of the Blackthorn family. My story is not a continuation of the original plot line, but instead what may have happened after the final book.

Lastly, I would like to thank everyone for reading my story. It has been so encouraging reading your comments and seeing that some of you choose to vote on my story. You all keep me smiling. I cannot tell you how much you all mean to me.
