"Shannon........ Shannon wake up," I heard a soft voice whisper and then shook my shoulder. I opened my eyes to see it was my mother standing over me with a sleepy smile.

I rolled over on my side to face her and I yawned.

"What time is it?" I said as I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes and kept my eyes in a squinted position.

"It's only 5:30, but our flight leaves at 11 so we should get going around 7, you know we're going to spend at least 3 hours on the road driving around in circles." my mom said and I chuckled because I knew it was true.

I sat up and stretched and then collapsed on top of Lyndsey and Jeremy.

"Good morning sunshines." I said as I watched their eyes flutter open and then close once more, followed by a couple words I couldn't quite comprehend.

"You guys better get up, we're leaving in an hour and a half and don't think for a second that I won't leave without you." I said as I slipped out of bed.

I spent the first half hour drinking my iced coffee like I do every morning and munching on a piece of toast, followed by picking out my outfit for my big day (link in the comments). After I looked in the mirror a few times and felt satisfied, I turned around to see Lyndsey exiting the bathroom who has also picked out her outfit (link in the comments).

"Ayyyyyy girl you looking fierce" I said and she gave me a flirty wink.

"Thanks bae, you don't look terrible yourself." she said with a smirk.

Her and I spent the next couple minutes fixing our hair and doing other typical girl stuff as Jeremy took his shower. A couple minutes later, he exited the bathroom fully clothed and looking fab (link in the comments).

Lyndsey and I wolf whistled at him as he laughed and rolled his eyes.

"Ready to go?" my mom asked as she applied a coat of dark purple lipstick to her lips.

"Yeah I think so." I replied as we all grabbed our suitcases and looked around the room to make sure we had everything.

"Lets get this show on the road!" my mom said enthusiastically and we all raced to the car, threw our bags in the trunk and began on our journey.

It was no surprise to me that we got lost on the way to the Orlando Airport by making a right instead of a left at a major intersection. Long story short, I almost had an anxiety attack and my mom, well, frustrated was an understatement. But once we finally got back on track thanks to the handy GPS, we made it to the airport by 9:45am, just in time.

I recollected myself as I stepped out of the car and looked at the humongous airport and all the cars surrounding it. I got my suitcase from out of the trunk and basically sprinted to the doors with the song Out Of My Limit by 5 Seconds of Summer blasting in my ears through my shitty headphones. I stepped foot in the airport and look around anxiously, I couldn't believe this was actually happening.

"I'm hungry." Jeremy huffed and then a loud rumble exited his stomach.

We spotted a McDonalds in the food court and decided to get something to eat while my mom got us all checked in.

I ordered a hash brown and a caramel frappe while Jeremy and Lyndsey ordered one of their famous breakfast sandwiches and sweet teas.

We walked over to a vacant table and literally shoveled the food our mouths. Even though I ate this morning, I was starving.

"Damn son, this is good." I said as I took another huge bite out of one of my hash browns followed by a sip of my frappe.

Jeremy nodded in agreement and Lyndsey had her headphones in and having that said, I know she couldn't hear me.

"What if 5 Seconds of Summer had a show in California while we're there?" Lyndsey commented with wide eyes and shaky hands.

"I highly doubt that, they're in the U.K. working on that 40 song album, remember?" I said with a mouth full of hash brown, how lady like of me.

"That's true, with our luck they'll be like lmao not coming back to America until the year 3000 cya." Lyndsey said and we all laughed, knowing that it's possible with our luck.

We threw our garbage away and started making our way over to my mom and then once we found her, we walked over to security.

As my bags were getting checked, I zoned out, thinking about what would happen if 5sos did come to California. We would actually have a chance to meet them, meet our heroes. And I could meet Luke..... just the thought of it gave me chills.

"Ma'm..... ma'm?" I heard a deep voice say and I snapped out of my trance, realizing my bags were already done being checked and it was my turn to walk threw the detector.

"Sorry." I mumbled as I felt my cheeks turning a bright shade of red and walked threw quickly and picked up my bags. I scurried over to my mom and friends.

"What time is it?" Jeremy asked as he scratched the back of his head, looking at my mom.

"10:55, wE HAVE 5 MINUTES TO GET TO OUR PLANE SHIT!" My mom exclaimed and laughed a nervous laugh. My eyes grew wide and before I knew it, I was running for my life, looking for the number 32 on the wall.

"29......30...........31.............32!" I said out loud and motioned my mom and friends over to the terminal before tripping over my own foot.

"GOD DAMN IT!" I said a little too loud as I got up quickly and hurried behind Lyndsey into the terminal, making it at exactly 11:00.
