"Surpriseeee!" I heard Luke sing as he hopped off the bus and then stood next to me, laughing at my wide eyes and hanging jaw.
All Time Low was a band that I liked a lot and holy craP.
"How did you???? why did?????? what???????" I questioned, still staring at the sign.
"We've got hoes in different area codes!" Calum rapped, causing me to hit him in his arm playfully as I laughed hysterically.
"Ready?" Luke asked me as he held his hand out infront of me.
"As i'll ever be." I answered with a smile as I took his hand in mine and we walked towards the venue with everyone else not far behind us.
Instead of going through the front entrance like I would usually go through at shows, Luke lead me and the rest of our group to the side of the venue where security nodded us off and we opened a door and climbed what seems like 30 flights of stairs.
When we finally reached the top, I realized we had VIP seats in the balcony and the view was priceless.
We had a perfect view of the stage, a mini bar, and seats that reclined.
"I could get used to this." Jeremy joked as he plopped down in one of the seats and I sat next to him as we both kicked back, grabbed a soda from under us, and clanked our cans together as we both took a sip.
The seating ended up being Jeremy on the end, me, Luke, Calum, Michael, Lyndsey, and then Ashton at the other end.
There were 3 opening acts for ATL and all of them had me out of my seat, dancing to the best of my ability to their music ((I was a pretty horrible dancer)).
A few minutes after the last band, New Politics, left the stage, the lights turned off, leaving only 4 spotlights on the stage.
"Y'ALL ARE FUNNY IF YOU THINK I'M STAYING UP HERE FOR ALL TIME LOW!" Lyndsey yelled over all the screaming girls around us.
"What? Where are you going?" I heard Ashton say as he grabbed her by her shirt.
"I'm going in the crowd, cya in the pit!" She said as she tugged her shirt back from him, threw off her shoes, and then headed towards the door.
My mind raced back and forth, trying to decide if I should join my friend and do what I do best, or try something new and stay with Luke. Finally, I had made my decision.
"Luke, i'll meet you back up later, i'm going with Lyndsey." I yelled into his ear.
As soon as I turned to walk away, I felt his hand grab my wrist as he stood up and moved his lips to my ear.
"Be careful." he said and I almost melted, remembering he did the same exact thing two nights ago when I was leaving for the pizzeria.
I smiled and gave him a small kiss on the cheek before turning away, ripping off my heels, and running down the stairs, trying my hardest to catch up with Lyndsey.
One I reached the bottom of the steps, I ran on to the floor and stood on my tiptoes, trying to see the stage so I would know when they came out.
I began to look around, trying to find Lyndsey, but it was too late. The screams around me escalated to an all time high as Alex's voice echoed through out the room.
"LOS ANGELES!" he yelled and I yelled back in excitement as I heard the chords for Time Bomb being played.
I smiled widely, this was one of the first songs I ever took interest in by them. I needed to crowd surf.
I looked around the crowd for strong muscular menly men to lift me up, but of course, all I saw was a sea of 14 year old girls and the only boys in there were in the pit and there was no way I was going in there. I don't even know why there was a pit in the first place, it was an All Time Low concert??
I shrugged and then sighed as I stood near the back nodding my head to the music.
"Need a little help?" I heard a familiar voice ask.
I turned around to see Michael and Calum behind me and I nodded frantically.
They laughed as they simultaneously lifted me up and then threw me into the crowd.
I sat in half laying down and half sitting up position as the girls around me surpisingly managed to keep me up.
Once I reached the front, I waved to Alex only to be dropped on my ass right in front of him, figures. I groaned as I got up, but my sour mood instantly got washed away when I realized I got dropped at barricade, meaning I was first row right in front of the band!
I danced and sang and screamed through out their whole set, loving the feeling that being back at a show gave me. I even managed to catch a pick from Jack!
During the last song, If these sheets were the states, I decided to leave the crowd to go find one of the boys, Lyndsey, or Jeremy. I pushed past all the girls, almost getting suffocated a number of times and having my hair pulled at least twice before exiting the crowd completely.
I looked around, only to see Lyndsey crowd surfing a few feet in front of me. I smiled as she floated to the front, grinning from ear to ear. I knew she felt the same way I did about these kind of things.
I jumped as I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around to see Luke and I beamed as I wrapped my arms around him and he returned the gesture.
"If these sheets were the states and you were miles away, i'd fold them end over end to bring you closer to me." Alex sang angelically as I felt Luke's grip around me tighten.
Those lyrics repeated through my head and I gulped as I really thought about how much those lyrics related to me. What was going to happen when Luke left in a couple of days?
The thought flew out of my head as I heard Alex's voice disappear and Luke's lip touch my cheek.
I blushed and then quickly tried to hide it when I saw Lyndsey and Michael run out from the crowd.
"THAT PIT WAS HELLA RAD!" Lyndsey exclaimed louder than she needed to.
"WHO WOULD HAVE GUESSED A 14 YEAR OLD COULD GIVE YOU THIS?" She continued, showing me a huge bruise on her arm with a grin, she was one who embraced her battle scars.
"You should have saw the way she knocked one kid's glasses directly off his face, it was the best thing since Skylander was invented." Michael commented as he looked at us with a chuckle, trying to catch his breath as Lyndsey gave us a sassy hair flip.
"Holy shit they were amazing." Jeremy broke in as he appeared at my side from out of the no where and I agreed with him.
Before I could get into a full on conversation with him, Calum and Ashton rushed over to us from over by the stage.
"Okay, you guys ready?" Calum said wiggling his eyebrows.
"Ready for what exactly?" I asked, wondering what other surprises this band could possibly have up their sleeve.
"Just follow us." Ashton chirped as he took Lyndsey's hand and then started basically skipping towards a door near the stage.
I looked at Jeremy with a confused look and giggled as I saw he wore the same ridiculous expression as I did before running with him and Luke to catch up with them.
We walked through the door, past the security, and up to a door that said "All Time Low Dressing Room" on it and I screamed internally.
Luke knocked on the door and then appeared Alex, Jack, Zack, and Rian in the doorway. Holy frickin frack.
"MY DUDES! YOU MADE IT!" Alex yelled and he grabbed each member of 5sos and pulled them into a cute group hug.
One they all pulled back, the members of All Time Low looked passed the boys and focused their glaze on Lyndsey, Jeremy, and I, but especially us girls.
"I didn't know you guys got girlfriends, damn!" Jack said causing me to look down at my feet.
"Well, we're not exactly dating." I mumbled, loud enough for them to hear me.
"Yeah, Ashton and I aren't dating either, maybe in his dreams." Lyndsey teased as Ashton rolled his eyes and intertwined their hands.
"Are you telling me that you have two perfectly great girls here with you and you haven't asked them out?" Alex questioned them and looked at them as if they had 3 eyes.
"If I were you, i'd get a move on that. But, anyways, come on in." he continued and then let us into their dressing room which was filled with packs of beer, bras from the stage, hairspray, and gifts from fans.
We sat there for what felt like days with the guys of All Time Low and let me tell you, they were exactly how I pictured them, and that's a good thing. I felt completely at ease with the people around me, and that's not something I could say very often.
It was around 9:00 when ATL's manager came in to tell them they needed to get moving if they were going to make it to Texas the next day.
They quickly came around, saying goodbye to each of us before grabbing their belongings and making their way back to their bus.
I was the last one Alex came to say goodbye too. He gave me a big bear hug and whispered in my ear "Nice to meet you sweetheart, and by the way, you and Luke wouldn't be a bad looking couple, so make it happen."
I felt my heart beat out of my chest as I heard those words leave his mouth. He pulled back and gave me a thumbs up and I quickly gave him one back, knowing exactly what he ment.
Once ATL were off the property, Lyndsey and I ran to grab our shoes and then met the boys back on the bus before collapsing on the couches in the lounge.
I layed down, planning to rest my eyes for a little. But before I knew it, I passed out and entered a world of rainbows, unicorns, and punk rock concerts.
