"Put the damn sunglasses on okay." "Oh my god i'm gonna hit you, Molly hold me back." Lyndsey threatened in a jokingly way, I hope.
"CooOoOme onNnn, we can't have a cool girls day without wearing out sunglasses together. I'm not starting this car until you do." I pouted. I honestly wasn't sure why I was so hung up on having us all wear sunglasses, probably because I really liked mine and didn't want to be the only one wearing them. Also, you see this kind of stuff in the movies I mean?? ?
"You're such a nub." Lyndsey said with a roll of her eyes as she slipped on her sun glasses and then Molly did the same.
"And we're off." I chirped with an accomplished smile as I started the car and drove us out of the mansion and away from our troubles.
Molly sat shotgun next to me and Lyndsey spread out across the back seats as she looked out the window like a little kid.
"Does this car have a.... ah, it does yaassss!" Molly answered her own question as she took out a plug from her bag that fit right into a part of the stereo system and then plugged her ipod into that.
The minute that plug entered her phone, I heard the first note of Unpredictable play and then disappear just as fast. Instead, Molly put Somewhere In Neverland on and gave us a cheeky grin. I returned the grin and began to belt out the lyrics, not caring that my window was down and the world could hear me.
By the end of the song, we had reached our first destination, the mall. I still had my $20 on me and I knew Lyndsey and Molly had some cash on them so I mean, why not?
We spent ages walking and sobbing over all the cute clothes, and guys, in that mall. We visited all the stores we had a couple days ago and were ecstatic at the fact that they were all restocked with new clothes and sales. I spent my $20 on a cute flower shirt I found in Pacsun and also a fluffy teddy bear that caught my eye in Hallmark. I had left the teddy bear I usually slept with at home and at night I hAVE to cuddle with something, so this little guy had to do the trick.
Molly had lots of cash on her that she had saved up to come here, and since she didn't have to use it, she bought enough shirts and shorts that she could fill up a swimming pool. And lastly, Lyndsey winded up buying one of those sweaters that was so ugly it was adorable, along with a new pair of toms.
"My legs are about to fall off." I complained as we rode down the escalator after about three hours of walking around.
"Can we eat now?" Molly asked and Lyndsey and I nodded our heads as our stomachs made unhuman noises.
Luckily, the first food spot we found was one that we were most excited to find, California Pizza Kitchen.
"Can w-" "Yes." I answered Lyndsey and then dragged her and Molly into the restaurant with my mouth already starting to water from the various smells coming from it.
We were sat at the bar without even asking and got offered margaritas right off the bat. At first, we all looked rather hesitant, scared of that one chance of us getting caught when they find out we're not of age. But our minds instantly were turned around once they gave us a few free samples of the drinks and we fell in love.
We all ordered the same thing, a Caribbean Sunset and also ordered an appetizer of some chips and dip.
As soon as our waiter Aaron walked away, we turned to each other with wide eyes and bright smiles.
"Can you believe that actually happened?" "No but i'm not questioning it okay." Molly responded and took another sip of her drink.
The drink definitely had alcohol in it, but it wasn't overpowering like the vodka or beers were. It was a perfect mix, and it gave me a carefree and bubbly feeling inside which I couldn't seem to get enough of.
