As Luke and I walked down the mile long hallway, I noticed it was silent, too silent. The only thing I could hear was our feet hitting the tile, I hope everyone is okay....
After another 20 seconds or so of anxiously walking down that damn hallway, we arrived back in the living room.
My eyes darted around the room quicker than I thought my eyes would ever be able to move.
I froze as I saw Lyndsey laying in Ashton's arms with bloodshot eyes, oh god she must have gone through the same thing I did. I couldn't stand seeing her upset like that.
I released Luke's hand and speed walked over to Lyndsey and Ashton, crouching before them so I was just a little below eye level with Lyndsey.
"Are you okay?" I asked softly as I looked up to her.
"Yeah," she sniffled and gave me a small smille I know that must have been hard to put up.
I looked down to see Ashton rubbing his thumb in circles on the top of Lyndsey's hand as he tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear. He really cared about her, and he seemed to calm her down, even better than I could. I could never thank him enough.
"Hello, Shannon..?" I heard Lyndsey say and I jumped out of my thoughts and looked up at her.
"Sorry what?" I apologized.
"I said are you okay?" She asked concered, I must have looked like a wreck as well.
"Yeah, yeah I am now." I replied honestly and I watched as her whole body relaxed.
"Cheers boys!" I heard Calum exclaim from what I believe was the kitchen.
I furrowed my eyebrows at Lyndsey and then motioned her, Ashton, and Luke to follow me.
We all arrived into the kitchen only to see two open bottles of Smirnoff Vodka sitting on the counter and the three boys holding shot glasses in their hands with goofy smiles on their faces.
"What the hell do you guys think you're doing?" Ashton barked as he kept Lyndsey close to him as if trying to protect her.
"Chill out mate, " Calum replied defensively as he set his glass down on the counter.
"We're just trying to have a little fun, you all should too." he added as he began to pour another round of shots.
"I don't think that's a very goo-" "I want in." Lyndsey interrupted and Ashton's eyes grew wide.
"I don't think that's a good idea Lyndsey..." Ashton interjected as he reached for her arm as she walked past him.
"What? Think I can't handle it?" She asked with challenge in her voice.
"No, it's just th-" Ashton began saying before Lyndsey took Calum's glass from his hand and downed the liquid quickly.
Calum, Michael, and Jeremy whooped and hollered while Luke, Ashton, and I stood there shocked.
"I like her." Michael laughed as he put an arm around Lyndsey's shoulder.
"What the frack get off me skunky." Lyndsey said as she shook off Michael's embrace quickly.
After a minute of pouting, Ashton sighed and took a shot as well. He then turned to Lyndsey and gave her cheekiest smile i've ever seen, her face turned the color of a tomato.
I stared intentently at the liquid, I have tried alcohol don't get me wrong, but i've never actually gotten drunk before. Lyndsey and Jeremy knew that, but I would never admit that to these guys though because I mean who wants to appear lame to your favorite band? lmao not me.
