"Holy shit.." I whispered to myself as I ran over to Jeremy and studied his injury.
I moved my hand over to his ankle and as soon as my finger made the slightest contact, he winced, and I instantly drawed my hand back.
"LUKE! LYNDSEY! CALUM! ANYBODY!" I desperately called out.
"hA SUCKER WE WON." I heard Lyndsey snicker as the front door opened and her and Ashton triumphantly walked in followed by Calum, Molly, Luke, and Michael who held their heads low in defeat.
After shutting the door, the five oblivious teens finally looked down at my crippled friend and I and their faces went from a radiant pink to white.
"Thanks for the help guys." I commented sarcastically as they continued to stand there as if they were frozen like Greg in the Story of My Life video.
Calum and Lyndsey raced over to me and looked down at Jeremy in concern and the rest of the group joined us.
"He needs to go to a hospital. Ashton, go get the car from the garage." Calum ordered and Ashton nodded and jogged away.
"Wait, you guys have a car?" Lyndsey asked confused.
"Yeah, why wouldn't we?" Michael replied.
"Well I don't know.... maybe the fact we've been riding in a tour bus for the past week or so??? "What can I say, we like Gus Bus." Luke replied with a shrug as we heard the beep of a car come from outside.
Luke and Calum carefully picked Jeremy up, Luke holding his upper body and Calum holding his lower.
"Be careful." I blurted out as they walked out the door and we followed them.
I was relieved to see that they had a bigger car that could fit all of us in it (I picture it being a black Toyota Highlander).
Lyndsey took shot gun next to Ashton while Luke and Calum sat second row with Jeremy propped up against them and Molly, Michael and I slid into the back.
As soon as the car door shut, Ashton really put the pedal to the medal because if those seats weren't there, I would have flown out the windshield.
"oUCH, WAS THAT REALLY NECESSARY?" Michael complained as he rubbed his head that i'm assuming just slammed against the back of the seat.
"Shut up, Michael." Ashton sternly replied and I could of swore I saw a smirk form on Luke's lips, but it disappeared as soon as Michael looked over at him and gave him an evil glare.
Michael pouted the rest of the ride and thank lil b Molly was there to keep him under control or I'd have to go to the hospital too for a migraine.
When we arrived, Calum and Luke rushed Jeremy to the front desk swiftly and he was instantly placed on a cot and taken away into the elevator.
I sat down in the waiting room with a huff as Luke sat to my right and Calum to my left.
"You never did mention what happened." Calum said and I sighed.
"He was chasing me, squirting me with a water gun trying to steal a mozzarella stick from me an-" "Wait, so this was all over a piece of cheese?" Luke interrupted.
"You say that as if mozzarella sticks aren't the best thing to ever happen to you." I replied causing them both to chuckle.
"Long story short, I guess that he slipped on some of the water." I concluded.
We all sat in silence for the next half hour, being completely absorbed by our phones. But the longer we sat there, the faster my leg shook and the more my fingers tapped the sides of my phone.
