Luke's POV:
I stood in confusion as I watched Shannon walk out the doors of the mall and towards the bus alone.
"Why did she do that? Is she okay? Was it because I called her babe?" I thought nervously.
I looked down at my hands to see my right hand holding a small piece of paper that had a fan named Brianna's number written neatly on it with a smiley face.
I remembered how persistent she was with giving it to me and no matter how many times I tried to politely reject it, she would just bring it back up. So I decided to just take it so I wouldn't hurt her feelings, even though there was no chance she was ever getting that call from me when I already had a perfectly amazing girl.
I quickly crumpled the paper and stuffed it into my ridiculously tight skinny jeans before running out the mall doors to catch up with Shannon.
"Hey, are you okay?" I breathed as I caught up with her.
"Yeah, i'm fine." she answered coldly without giving me eye contact as the door to our tour bus clicked open and she stepped inside.
I felt a hand ruffle my hair before pushing past me, allowing me to see the skunk colors appear before my eyes and then disappear just as fast.
"Michael, manners!" I heard Molly tease as she followed behind him along with Jeremy, Calum, and a what looks like upset Lyndsey.
"You too mate?" Ashton questioned with a sigh as he stood next to me and ran his hand through his curly hair.
"What?" "Lyndsey's not talking to me either." he replied with a huff, seeming really confused and frustrated, and I could relate.
I wasn't sure how to respond so I simply patted him on the back before joining everyone else on the bus.
The whole ride back was extremely awkward, well, for Ashton and I at least.
Shannon and Lyndsey sat next to each other in silence looking back and forth from their phones and staring into complete oblivion. Ashton and I sat across from them doing basically the same, trying to start up conversations but we would just look back at them and get distracted or just run out of things to say.
On the other hand, we had Calum and Jeremy blasting music from their phones doing who knows what, and then we had Michael who was cracking jokes left and right to Molly and she was actually laughing. I don't think I have to worry about him and Shannon anymore.
It seemed to take years until we reached the house again, and as soon as we did, Shannon and Lyndsey were the first to shoot up and exit the bus.
I gulped as I walked with the rest of the group off the bus and into the house.
"Do you guys wanna watch a movie?" Calum asked like an excited little kid.
"I like movies." Ashton commented as he plopped down on the couch.
"I never got the chance to see Monsters Inc. University, can we pleeasssee watch it?" Calum begged with his bottom lip stuck out like a lil puppy dog.
"Really? Can we watch som-" "I've been dying to see it too actually." Molly cut off Michael with a smile.
"Oh yeah, me too." Michael corrected himself and I rolled my eyes as I walked over to the couch and sat next to Calum.
I looked around me to try and spot Shannon so we could sit together, but I didn't see her.
I bit my lip and made another full 360 spin to try and look for her, but she was still no where in sight.
I was just about to get up to go find her when I heard Calum squeal, signaling that the movie was about to start.
I turned around in my seat, criss crossed my legs, and let out a small sigh of defeat, knowing that if I left now that Calum would have a hissy fit and i'd probably get some smart ass comment from Michael.
The movie was really cute and happened to boost my mood a little bit, that was until I saw Michael interlock fingers with Molly.
I looked away as quick as I could and turned my attention back to the movie, trying my hardest not to let the subtle gesture get to me.
But all I could hear is the typing of a IPhone keyboard over and over again in my ears.
I looked down next to me to see it was Calum was doing all the typing to a girl named Becky? Who was she?
The movie seemed to last years at a time, and when it had finally ended, I was about to lose my mind from my surroundings, I needed to talk to Shannon.
I jumped up instantly and began looking in all the rooms of our house, from the kitchen, to the bathrooms, and finally to the bedrooms.
And it was her bedroom that I found her and Lyndsey in it, wow why didn't I think of that first.
They both sat on her bed with their feet swinging back and forth and their voices low. It was obvious that they didn't want to be heard.
I knocked on the already opened door to inform them of my arrival, and as soon as I did, their eyes shot up at me.
They both seemed a little red, as if they'd been rubbing them a lot. And just like that, I was concerned.
"Hey.." I mumbled rubbing the back of my neck and looking at them.
"We're not really in the mood to talk so can you and your jandals go somewhere else?" Lyndsey said sounding irritated with my presence, even more than usual.
"I just wanted to make sure you guys were okay... if she's okay." I continued.
"Yeah we're great!!!" she spit sarcastically and I frowned at her comment, and then frowned a little more as I glanced over at Shannon and she gave me an empty glare.
I opened my mouth to say something when my phone rang.
I slipped it out of my pocket to see it wasn't my mum, but a number I didn't recognize.
"Hello?" I asked just as I answered the call and I stepped just outside of the room into the hallway.
"Heeey baby." I heard a female voice chirp on the other line.
"Uh, who is this?" "The girl you've been chasing in your dreams." she replied and I heard giggles in the background, starting to catch on.
"Oh yeah, how could I forget you, what's your name again?" "Gabriella Montez." she sang and I laughed.
"Oh yeah, you'reee the mussiicc in meeee." I sang and the other line errupted into laughter, being a little too loud, just so I could hear "Gabriella's" laugh from downstairs.
"Well, I gotta go prepare for our solo tonight, love you!" "Love you too, babe." I joked back and hung up the phone with a chuckle at my friends' stupidity.
I turned around and walked back into the room to see Shannon collapsed in Lyndsey's arms and.... crying?
I could have swore I gained super powers because I heard every tear that was falling off her face and into Lyndsey's shirt, and it was one of the most painful things i've ever had to experience.
I began to walk towards them to go and comfort her and figure out what the hell was going on, only to be stopped by Lyndsey's hand and an almost vicious look.
"Get out, this is your fault." she hissed and my heart broke again as my eyes broke away from hers and met Shannon's who were water work central..... and apparently, it was of my doing.
