Chapter 4

YOUR P.O.V



All I remember was a girl with colorful clothes attacking. She painted a life like cage and it trapped me and someone else. I felt really groggily and sick in my stomach. I opened my eyes but couldn't see much through this blurry vision of mine. Once it cleared, I saw Chloe right next to me. I tried to shuffle over but my arms were restrained with hand cuffs. In fact we were handcuffed together.
"Oh, good you're awake." said a feminine voice. I spotted the girl with colorful clothes. "I am Lady Artist and you are bait for Ladybug and Cat Noir. You see, I need something from them--"
"What is it with bad guys saying their plans out loud? That is why they fail!" I wish I had kept my bid mouth shut. But I know Marionette and Cat Noir will figure it out.
"Well, I guess it's time to contact them." Lady Artist painted a video camera in the thin air with her paintbrush. It was a working camera that was just painted in thin air! Once she got it working, she gave herself an introduction then rambled on about wanting something from Marionette and Cat Noir.
"If you don't, say good-bye to these girls." She pointed the camera at you and Chloe.
"Cat Noir! Help me!" I yelled out. I didn't mention Chloe because she didn't deserve to be saved but I knew they would save her regardless.
"You have until sun down. After that these girls will be gone." Lady Artist said. She then tossed the camera in a tub of water to which it dissolved into nothing but a color in water.


ADRIAN'S P.O.V


I was watching T.V at my house. I tried to visit (y/n) but she wasn't home. I tried calling her but she won't pick up her cell. I then saw on the news that this new villain had kidnapped her. Oh, and Chloe. She called for me... well, Cat Noir but same thing.
"Plagg! Where are you!? We need to go now! (y/n)'s in trouble!"
"I'm not here!" he called out. I pulled out a piece of his favorite snack to eat. He immediately came out from where he was hiding and took it from my fingers.
"Plagg, claws out!" I yelled. I transformed to the one and only Cat Noir and called my bug-a-boo. She answered immediately.
"Hey, bug-a-boo. You got a location? I need to find (y/n) right now."
"Yes, but, how'd you know her name?"
"I--I... Her boyfriend told me." I know it wasn't a real relationship but why did I have to say boyfriend.
"Okay, well they are in the basement of the art museum. Meet you there." I nodded and rushed over there. It was getting close to sun down. I had to hurry, if not (y/n) would be gone.

I was at the museum before Ladybug and I couldn't wait around for her. I went in alone. Quietly and sneakily like a cat. As soon as I was at the basement I saw (y/n) handcuffed Chloe and restrained. I walked over to her quietly and tried picking the lock with my claws. (y/n) woke from her little nap and saw me picking the lock. I smiled and winked at her. A flush of red rose to her cheeks. Chloe became conscious and started talking and being a loud mouth.
"Hello, Cat Noir." said the villain. I gave Chloe a stern look and then face the villain. It looked as it would be easy but when she painted something it became real and attacked me. She painted countless numbers of samurai-looking people. They all charged at me and I felt like I was fighting for hours! I was finally given break when Ladybug showed up. I grabbed (y/n) and Chloe and shoved them behind a desk.
"I promised I would keep you safe, Kitten." I smiled at her. I ran back to help Ladybug. It seemed impossible to defeat Lady Artist. Until (y/n) was captured by one the samurais.
"Let me go!" she yelled and struggled out it's grasp. "This is choking me." she said referring to how her sweater felt tight around her throat. Something snapped inside me, I was about to pounce until Ladybug stopped me.
"Hold your whiskers, kitty. We don't know how to defeat these things, we need to think."
"I made a promise to keep her safe and I intend to keep it." I ran to the samurai guy,"Cataclysm!" I yelled. My hand touched the samurai and it rusted and fell to pieces. (y/n) coughed and tried to catch her breath. I helped her up.
"Water," she said.
"No offence, but I think this is a bad time to fetch you a drink of water."
"No, silly. If the paintings get wet with enough water, it washes away."
"Would've been nice to know about 10 minutes ago!" I ran back to Ladybug who had just used her Lucky Charm. She held a lighter in her palm. She looked absolutely stumped. I told her about water being the weakness. Suddenly she had an idea. She asked me to get her under the sprinklers, while she set them off. We had to work quickly, I only had three pads left.
The sprinklers went off and all the paintings she drew washed away.
"The akuma is in the paintbrush." Ladybug called out. I ran to Lady Artist as she was distracted by her falling army, I kicked it from her hand. Ladybug caught it and broke it.
"Time to de-evilize!" she called out. When the akuma was let out she waved it good-bye. She threw the lighter in the air and yelled out,"Miraculous Ladybug!" Everything that was broken was now fixed. Lady Artist returned to herself again. I had ran out of time.
"I got to go!" I waved them bye. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw the disappointment in (y/n)'s eyes as she waved bye.


YOUR P.O.V


After Marionette took us home, I felt upset about two things. 1. I didn't meet Cat Noir the way I fantasized and 2. everyone had forgotten my birthday. Even I forgot it! Wow, what wonderful way to spend your birthday. I sat on my bed and was disappointed about today. I felt like crying, seeing this day was terrible. I heard taps on my window. I opened it and saw the one and only Cat Noir on the ledge.
"Hey," he said, "I heard it was your birthday and I came to give you a present. May I come in?" All I could do is nod. he stepped in and sat on my bed. He looked over to my desk and saw a picture of me and Adrian as kids. He chuckled.
"You two together?" he asked.
"Yeah... Well it's not real. Just for publicity."
"He must be really lucky."
"I guess. So, what's the gift?"
"Hm? Oh yeah, I almost for got. Come closer and I'll show you." I did as he said and got closer. He looked straight into my (e/c) eyes as I looked into his green eyes. All I could think is, 'Dang! He's even more gorgeous up close!'. He pressed his soft warm lips onto mine. Although it startled me, it didn't take me long to kiss him back. Yup, this made up for everything that happened today. I slid my hand around his neck as he put his on my waist. I wished his moment would last forever but like all great things, it had to end.
"Good night, Kitten." he kissed me once more and jumped out my window. A moment had passed until I could actually process what had happened.
"I kissed Cat Noir." I managed to say.
