Chapter 6

ADRIAN'S P.O.V


It's been a while since I've seen (y/n) at school. She doesn't even open her window for Cat Noir anymore. I wonder if she's okay. I saw Chloe come up to me with a smile.
"Hi Adrian." She said flirtatiously.
"Hey, Chloe, you haven't seen (y/n) by any chance, have you?"
"Who cares about her? Why don't you dump her to be with me?"
"Sorry, Chloe. I can't do that. I love (y/n)." I walked passed her and went to see if (y/n) was home. To my luck she was. I could hear her singing an American song. She sounded terribly adorable. I chuckled and knocked on her door. She didn't answer. She must have head phones on or something. I tried knocking louder. I didn't hear (y/n) singing so she must have heard me knocking. She opened the door, hiding her body halfway behind it.
"Hey, Adrian. What are you doing here?"
"What do you mean? I just came to see if you were ok. I haven't seen you in a while."
"Oh, yeah. I just din't feel like coming to school for a while."
"May I come in?" I asked. (y/n) shook her head. I knew she was hiding something, so I pushed through the door and looked at (y/n) from top to bottom. She had a couple bad looking bruises all over her body. Her fair skin was now full of blues and purples of bruises.
"Was this your mother?" I asked. She nodded. "Piano lessons?" She nodded again.
"Well, since you're inside my house, would you like to talk in my room? I need to ask you something." I nodded. My mind questioned what she was going to ask me. I wondered if she was going to ask me out. I looked at her left hand and noticed the ring I got her was on her ring finger. I smiled knowing she would never take it off or let anyone take it from her. We finally reached her room and sat on her bed.
"What's wrong, Kitten?"
"Do you know who Cat Noir is? Like... the guy behind the mask." My eyes grew wide. Does she know it's me? How did she find out!? I played it cool and simply shook my head.
"I don't. Sorry Kitten."
"Do you think he'll still see me every night after I ignored him?"
"I'm pretty sure he won't let you go that easy. I mean, he has another life behind that mask and for him to take the time to see you every night, that's special. You're special." I hugged (y/n) tight. She gladly hugged me back. After a while of chatting we played all sorts of games. I had to leave right before the sun set so Cat Noir could make an appearance. (y/n) didn't want me to but still let me leave. I needed to do something special for her.
"What do you think, Plagg? Plagg?"
"It's nice but you need to do something more extreme if you want her to be really happy. A dinner.... ON THE EIFFEL TOWER!!!" the little cat yelled. My expression had brightened up at the idea.
"That's perfect! Tomorrow night. Dinner at the Eiffel Tower! Alright, Plagg, claws out!" I said as he got sucked into my ring. My appearance changed from Adrian to Cat Noir. I made my way up the wall and stood at the ledge of (y/n)'s room. I was going to knock on the window when I realized it was already opened. I stuck my head right in and saw (y/n) on her bed listening to music. I quietly stepped inside and laid right next to her. She didn't notice me until her elbow lightly hit my arm. She squealed and I laughed.
"That's not funny! You scared the heck out of me!" she pouted.
"I'm sorry, you're right it's not funny. So how's it going? I haven't seen you for a while."
"I'm fine. Just trouble with my mother."
"Are you being a bad kitty?"
"It's not like that. She just really wants me to play the piano really well. I hate the piano though, I'm not even good at it."
"Let me hear you play a song." (y/n) refused. I had no choice but to carry her to the piano and sit her down and have her play a song. She hit my back and told me to put her down. Then she cried, "OW!" That's when I really put her down.
"You ok? Let me take a look." Since the pain came from her belly area, I lifted her shirt a little and saw the biggest bruise that could ever exist. I covered he whole abdomen. How did I not see this earlier!? Before I could question her my thoughts were interrupted by a powerful force. My mind kept saying,"Get her!" and my body could do nothing but obey. I had no control over my actions. All I could remember was telling her to run and then I black out. I could still feel my body moving but I didn't know what I was doing. Hopefully she got away and is safe with Ladybug somewhere.
