Wrong Number

Chapter Three:

Nico rushed down the stairs pulling on his left shoe as he hopped down the last step. He had overslept and was about to be late to school. "BIA!" He yelled slinging his bag over one shoulder, grabbing a cookie from a jar Persephone had baked before leaving.

"What?" She asked calmly slipping on her heels. She stood next to him, now taller by an inch.

"I'm going to be late to school," he said pointedly. "You have to drive me."

She reached for her bag on the counter and grabbed the keys to her car. "Come on then," she said.

Will stared at his text. Was he being to informal? He and Nico were friends...right?

His thoughts were reassured when Nico's reply came in.

Will smiled to himself. He was in Lou's car, her mother was driving. Lou leaned over and read the text. "Who ya texting?" She asked shifting her position so they were facing each other.

"Nobody." Will felt his cheeks getting hot

"Ooooooh," Lou snatched his phone. "Is it your boyfriend?" Lou knew he was gay, everyone knew he was gay.

"No," Will mumbled. His cheeks were positively burning by now.

"Then who is it ... Who is this ... Nico?"

"A friend," Will said defensively grabbing his phone back. Lou moved back.

"Sorry I didn't mean to get you all mad," she apologized genuinely.

"I know."

"Thanks Bia," Nico said hopping out of the car. "I'll text you when my detentions over."

"Yeah yeah, go get your butt in school," she said playfully. He gave her a quick smile and headed into the building quickly texting Will.

Hey I'm at school I have to go my first class is in five.

Ok talk to ya later, bye:)

He heard a phone buzz near him. His eyes landed on a pretty blond boy walking across the hall. Nico shook his head. Will couldn't not go to this school, the noise was just a coincidence. He really wanted to ask though. Deciding to do it later he headed into his first class, math.
