"I'm huuuungry," Nico whined while Bianca set the table. She had a piece of bread on her mouth and was munching on it as she grabbed the glasses from the shelf.

She twirled in sync to the music she had playing. "Well if you stopped texting and started helping we could eat sooner."

"But it's your job to set the table," he complained still not looking up from his phone screen. Nico opened his mouth to rant again when Bianca sprinted over and stuffed a slice of tomato bread to shut him up.

Instead of retaliating he ate it quickly and asked for more. "If I gave you more we wouldn't have enough to eat for dinner," she scolded slapping his hand away from the bread basket she had just placed down.

"Why do we need that much? It's just me and you."

"You and me," she corrected. "Never use me before the other person."

Nico rolled his eyes and stood to help her with the hot food. "Nerd."

"Finally! You're moving! I thought you were glued to the chair," Bianca said in a playful mock surprise.

Nico raised his eyebrows. "Ha ha," he drawled sarcastically, bumping into her shoulder as she passed him 'accidentally'.

Bianca stuck her tongue out at him and shook her wet hands near his face spraying him slightly with water.

"It's on."

Will stared at his phone in worry. The last message read.

I'll be right back don't miss me to much ;)
(Sixteen minutes ago)

Did he do something wrong while talking to Nico? If not then what happened to him? Was he okay?

"Will! Dinner!"

Hey you still here?

Will bit his lip. Was this too clingy?

"COMING!"

He stomped down the stairs abandoning his phone on his bed.

"I'm here mom," he said collapsing in his chair.

Her mom raised her eyebrow. "No slouching," she scolded.

Will straightened his back. "I know mom." Then he proceeded to begin eating.

Right after he finished he pushed his chair back and stood up. "Where are you going?" His mother asked. "You haven't had desert yet."

"I'm full mom," Will lied. The sound of that desert was really tempting but he wanted to see if Nico had replied. Pathetic, he scolded himself. Still he excused himself and after leaving his plate in the sink, ran up the stairs to his room.

"You better not be hiding a girl up there," his mother called from downstairs.

"I'M GAY!"

"Bia stop!" Nico laughed. They had finished dinner and she had attacked him, tickling him in his most ticklish spots. "BIA!"

She put her hands up in mock surrender then dived on top of him on the couch. She made a grab from a pillow once she realized his plan. "Noooo," she moaned as he pulled it away.

"Yesssss." Nico threw the pillow on the floor and jumped on her as she tried to squirm away. "You're going down!"

"Can't...breath....Nico..."

"Huh?" He climbed off. Then he realized it was just an act and she jumped him again getting a pillow to hit him with.

"That's." Hit. "For." Hit. "Jumping." Hit. "On." Hit. "ME!" Hit.

Will stared at his phone. It was eleven at night and he should be sleeping. But the nagging feeling for Nico not texting back still bothered him.

Hey sorry for not responding I'm really sorry.

It's fine what happened?

It  wasn't fine to him but he didn't want Nico to think he was clingy.

You know Will I'm really tired can I tell you tomorrow?

At school?

Sure.

Goodnight Neeks.

Night.
