I watched the entire scenario play out down below. For one, I couldn't believe Zoe actually kicked Trent in his down-there area. Two... well... Well done, Leila.

I seriously need to move on from Leila. She's a supermodel, I'm a delinquent. She's book smart, I'm street smart. She's gorgeous, I'm... okay, I'm gorgeous too, but still. She is completely out of my league.

[A/N: REALLY want to add this in!!]

☼Leila Perez☼

I dreamt of him holding me around the waist. I wore a light pink skirt and white top. He was in his khakis and blue button-up. I didn't deserve to be standing beside him right now. I'd been hiding in secret until I'd met him, he was daring. I was nerdy, he was a player. He was gorgeous, I'm... okay, I'm gorgeous too, but still. He's too out of my league.

[A/N: I felt I summed that up pretty well ;)]

It was almost midnight. I couldn't sleep. My mind kept wandering over things like the maths test I'm going to have to wing, the history speech that I can't remember and Zoe's tiny, but shocked, expression about Dad.

Why did he have to come back now? When everything was going so perfectly? I stood up and grabbed the small velvet blue box on my dresser. I tossed it around in my hands. Zoe or Leila?

Mum had given me the box last week. She didn't tell me what to do with it, but just left it on my dresser. I'd asked her about it and she'd just smirked at me and looked away.

I could give it to my little sister in a few months, or I could give it to Leila tomorrow. Ethan is my best friend, but Leila is slowly but surely surpassing him every second.

I heard a loud screech that made me jump. I raced to my window and looked out into the garden. A familiar black Lamborghini had swung onto the kerb between our houses. Across from me, Leila opened her window with a dazed expression and a yawn, "Jerk, what time is it?"

"Midnight," I murmured, looking back to the Lamborghini.

Lucy had a massive smile on her face, "Great! You two are awake! Come down for a minute!"

Why the f*** does she need us at twelve a.m.?

I raced down the stairs and out onto the driveway. Leila was only a few seconds later. Lucy brandished two booklets and waved them around, "Guess what I have here."

Leila raised a perfectly plucked eyebrow, "Are those...?"

I really wish she'd finished that thought because I had no clue.

"Contracts?" she asked, "Yes. I managed to score you both a two-month contract with Sports Illustrated AU!"

"Really?!" Leila squealed and jumped on our agent.

I slowly broke out into a grin, "Wait, so we have two months of modelling for the best sports magazine in Australia?"

"Indeed," Lucy nodded excitedly and quickly informed us where to sign and put our initials.

She hurried into her car and drove off. I, myself, was freezing in my wife-beater t-shirt and boxers. Leila looked no better in a thin dressing gown and pair of small shorts and a crop-top.

Her lips were blue and she was shaking like a leaf. She mustn't get cold much.

I grabbed her hand. It was like ice. I said worriedly, "Let's get you inside."

I brought her slowly inside. She moved so slowly it was like a slug. Leila crashed onto her couch and I sat next to her.

She frowned, "I'm excit-ted. B-but it c-could have w-waited unt-til morn-ning."
