Leila Perez

The farm was right along the beach. Literally.

Rachel drove the rent-a-car along the edge of the grass, right next to the sand, and then turned up a driveway that led right down to the beach. I watched as the driveway entwined past a strawberry field, a clean-looking lake, a small house, a horse stables and finally led up to something resembling a mansion. Whoever lived here had quite a lot of money. I could probably afford five of these and still have some money left over, but not everyone is me.

"Wow," Sera said quietly.

Zoe nodded excitedly, "Pretty, isn't it?"

"It's huge!" Sera squealed.

I pressed my lips together. I'd been sitting with the two squeaky five-year-olds for the past two hours on the drive, and I was mad at Castor for abandoning me with them. He pulled down the mirror to check his hair and I glared at him. He smirked. But I used to opportunity to check my own hair. I touched up the part and then pulled out my lipstick. I added it carefully.

Castor winked and I rolled my eyes, putting away the tube.

Sera whispered rather loudly to Zoe, "I can't believe you know Leila though!"

Zoe nodded excitedly, "Cool, right?!"

I hid a smile from my face but put an arm around Zoe in the middle and put my cheek on her head. Sera looked at me with wonder as Zoe put her arms around me. I yawned and closed my eyes.

Rachel scowled loudly, "Don't do that, Leila. We're getting out, right now."

I pulled away from Zoe as the car rolled to a stop. I closed the car door behind me and headed with Castor to get my suitcase. Castor took it from my grasp, "I've got it, Nerd."

I tugged on the handle, "Castor, give me my suitcase back."

"No, Princess."

"Castor," I growled.

"You don't need to growl at me," he patted my head, "If you want to make love, just ask."

Deja vu, much?

I rolled my eyes, "Jerk."

"Barbie."

"Ken."

"Nerd."

"Sean O'Donnell."

"Hey!" he shouted, "I much hotter than Sean O'Donnell."

"Give me my suitcase back," I glared at him.

"Don't want to because you'll complain later about your arms hurting."

"I wouldn't dare," I crossed my arms across my chest, "Anyways, your suitcase is like... twice the size of mine."

"You can carry mine if you want," he smirked.

"Jerk!" I shouted, "Give me my suitcase."

He rolled his eyes, "No comeback, really?"

I frowned and then grinned.

"What?" he raised an eyebrow.

I stood on my tiptoes and kissed him lightly. I heard his breathing hitch and I grabbed my suitcase, "Thanks, Ken."

"Thanks for the free kiss, Nerd," he chuckled.

"Well..." an unfamiliar voice sneered, "That's not exactly something I want to see first thing in the morning."

I looked over my shoulder at a girl with glossy black hair. Her eyes suddenly went wide, "No freaking way!"

I gulped.
