Married But...

Chapter -7

Even though I'm going to be married soon I was still getting those childish ideas, I unlocked the door, hid behind it and opened the door a little. I slowly peeped into the hall through the gap . I could see clear view of the hall from that gap. I saw my dad , he wore a white ironed shirt , he looked happy. I started searching for Anand, I observed my relatives and family friends busy in their conversation . I continued to search for Anand and then my eyes were attracted to a person wearing a white sherwani I was not able to see his face he was talking to Raghu uncle, dad's friend . I was sure that it was Anand but still I wanted to confirm it and finally after a long wait, Raghu uncle moved and that person turned his face.

Yes! it was Anand. He looked.. he looked.. soo good ! No. No, not just good . Umm... I don't have words to express it , some times our feelings and what our eyes see, cannot be expressed in words .

After seeing him I landed on my dream land , where I do only one thing and that is - Dreaming, Dreaming and Dreaming....

I came back to the reality when Nikki frequently shaked me to bring me back.

"Haha stop dreaming Anu" Nikki and Ankitha giggled.

Later,Someone knocked the door Nikki got up from the chair to open the door. It was amma.

She came in "Anu are you ready?" Amma asked with a smile .

"Yes amma" I said.

"Ok let's go"

My heart skipped a beat a lot of mixed feelings started, my legs started shaking. Mom understood my situation she sat beside me gently placed her hand on my head " don't worry Anu, everything is going well"

I took a deep breath and stood up. Mom took me to the hall where everyone was waiting, Nikki and Ankitha followed us.

As I was entering the hall everyone turned their heads towards me. Everyone's eyes were on me ,I felt nervous I felt like running away but it wasn't a good idea. I took a deep breath again and slowly raised my head. Oh my god! Everyone was looking at me , all had wore a pleasant smile on their faces . They were looking at me like a hungry kid looking at the mountain of chocolates. I know now I'm going to be attacked by hundreds of hugs and kisses from my aunties and friends.

My eyes started to search for Anand. Anand's mom called me and made me to sit beside her she hugged me , kissed me on my forehead she also gave me complements. I could see her love on me in her sparkling eyes.

My eyes continued to search for him. Ufff.. being a bride is really difficult I can't even lift my head up all eyes are glued on me . I don't know where Ankitha , Nikki and others have disappeared I'm feeling uncomfortable. I finally found him , he was sitting beside his father . He was talking to uncle (Anand's father) I think he didn't noticed me I was excited to see his reaction when he comes to know that a girl who followed him and the girl with whom he is going to be married is same.

Uncle got a phone call so he got up and went aside . Anand's mom called Anand "Anand see how beautiful Anu is looking" and finally, he noticed me the expressions on his face almost made me to burst out a laughter but I controlled as everyone were looking at us. When Anand saw me his jaw almost hit the floor, his eyes became double of the actual size and his expressions - horrified, confused. It was hard to stop my laugh , his expressions were soo funny.

"Anitha?" He asked loudly. Almost shouted.

Everyone turned to him ,he realized it after starting me for few seconds he composed himself and tried to cover it " ha.. hai Anitha ha... how are... you"
