Chapter- 18

"Where-are-you-going ?" He asked bringing his eyebrows together.

I wore jeans with a white top and left my hair open , I looked like a college going girl maybe that's why he asked that question or maybe because I never looked good after those rituals because I always end up wearing pajamas and oily hair sometimes. No wonder why Anand ignore me . I never tried to look good because we behaved more like roommates​ and less or very less like a husband and wife.

"I'm going out with Nikki. I told you yesterday, did you forget?"

"Umm.. no" he said scratching his head.

"Hmm.. your breakfast is ready have it after freshing up" I said while choosing my heels.

He silently​ watched me in the mirror while I was applying pink lipstick. I felt uncomfortable but I managed to act like I don't care.

Keeping that lipstick back into my bag I said "I.. I think​ I'll be late. Bye"

Giving a confused look he said "why? I.. I mean I told you that I will drop you . Right?"

"It's ok Anand I can manage" I said.

"No wait! Let me drop you" he said jumping out of the bed.

I was surprised by the way he was reacting. I stared at him for few seconds.

"Please" he said pressing his lips together into a straight line .

I felt something . Something like excitement , happy . Actually I wanted to jump and shout - LET'S Go..!! With excitement but instead I said - ok . Calmly.

"Give me five minutes" he said making his way.

Well he took more than 30 minutes but it was ok for me . I remember how I suffered when he completely ignored me . Sometimes I wantedly did something to grab his attention. Even though he wasn't talking to me I always had breakfast and dinner with him I observed him looking at me from the corner of his eyes. When he was late for the dinner from the office I used​ to wait for him and when I was late for the breakfast he used​ to wait for me .

I don't know why he was behaving like that . I wanted to make our relationship better but he always avoided the conversation .

From yesterday he is being nice to me. He is talking to me and today I can't believe, the way he said please , it melted​ my heart.

Breaking the awkward silence in the car he asked "you are going for movie right?"

"Yeah"

"And when will you return home?"

"No idea. I think she planned something , she sounded so exciting in the morning. "

"Okay"

And we fell silent.

We reached the cine planets in 30 minutes . I frown when I saw Nikki sitting on the chair besides watchman, at the entrance . At first I was scared that something had happened but after seeing her irritated expression I sighed and smiled.

"Is she...?"

"Nikki" I said , smiling.

"What is she doing there" he asked raising an eyebrow.

"She is crazy and I love her" I don't have any idea why did I said that.

"I know. She looks irritated" he laughed at her expression .

I quickly got out and stood there when Nikki's eyes fell on us . She looked at Anand and me for several times opening her mouth.

"Nikki" I hugged her.
