So Jesse, thank you for kindly agreeing to undertake this interview. Let's get ourselves comfortable as we settle down in our virtual Beach Café in our comfy chairs.

So what are we drinking? Coffee? Tea? Or a glass of wine?? Oh and are we having cake? Let me know and I will go up and order, it's my treat, this time.

If cake is on the menu, which is your favourite? Is there a memory attached to it that you would like to share?

Reply: The cake isn't the important part...it's all about the frosting. None of that whipped stuff, no, no, it's got to be the pure sugar like you get in the betty crocker tubs at the grocery store. Unless of course, you are having tea too, and then lemon pound cake all the way. But only if it has frosting...I clearly have a frosting problem.

But despite being a Seattleite it is tea for me not coffee. I do like coffee, but i'll take a good London Fog over a Mocha any day

I'm quite partial to the frosting on cup cakes, especially chocolate, yum yum. As you like frosting so much, I found this utube video of a sort of cake hop and taste in London and it made me think of you. I also love a good cuppa of strong English tea or Green Tea.

So Jesse have you always lived in Seattle and what's it like to live there? Is it home to you and where you always want to lay your hat?

Reply: I was actually born in Missouri on a commune (think super hippies) but my parents moved to Washington when I was five and into the Seattle area when I was seven. I can't imagine living anywhere else (except Hawaii on the beach.) It's just a gorgeous area. All anyone thinks of is the rain, but we actually have mountain ranges in every direction you look, there are a multitude of lakes and the ocean in driving distance (just don't try to swim in the oceans around here...waaaaay too cold.) Plus, where else is there a Starbucks on every corner? And no, I don't think we are going anywhere anytime soon. My husband and I own 2.5 acres of woods with our house right at the center. I can't think of a better home base than that!
