I would like to introduce you to the Anu otherwise known as A Roy whose user name on Wattpad is anupamarc and lives in London.
Since moving to London over 17 years ago, we moved around before settling in this part of the town but I absolutely adore this surroundings. There's greenery, old Victorian houses and plenty of parks and lakes right outside. Everyone says London can be grim and grey but on a spring day when the flowers are in full bloom and the Cherry blossoms rain all over the pavement, it can be heaven on earth. I love the city as it's fairly obvious I guess!
I love London but I love the country too. I like my culture but I love vast expanse of trees water and land. I like the best of both worlds. One is not enough for me! I guess I am lucky I can tip my toe in both.
I think this is partly why I love the location where we are. There's all the greenery and water, even woodlands a stone's throw away. I couldn't quite live in a concrete jungle anymore but at the same time a proximity to the city gives me comfort strangely.
I got to know Anu through reading a fellow writer's book Revenge by Henry Scott henry_scott who was spotlighted on the Next Big Recognition run by DawnStarling and as a fellow writer who loves a mystery we bonded. We like similar genres, we also bonded over our comments and chat with another writer linahanson and we became beta readers to each other as we strive to improve as writers and learn to polish our work. She's also a fellow curly hair person and loves to bake...bake off here we come!
I think we met reading henry_scott's amazing book, Revenge randomly over a comment and messaged each other. After that it was beta reading and the chatty girls we are, ended up sharing life histories :) I was invited for NBR but never got around to joining as my work peaks certain months and I can't dedicate any time to writing those months forget reviewing. I hope to join some day if the invitation remains open.
I am sure Dawn would always hold the door open for you.
[BAKE UP - THE FINAL GOODBYE]
Like our fellow writer friend linahanson Anu also has a fascination with Egyptian artifacts, although her books don't have witches like Lina's, Anu's book Dying Embers https://www.wattpad.com/story/66149161-dying-embers
