Dole had been in the Denver Maximum security prison for a few weeks now and to say that he hated it was an understatement. The food tasted like cardboard and the other prisoners were too interested in why he was in jail. They were not fond that he used to be a police officer either. Dole learned real quick that he had to stand up for himself or he would be subjected to abuse for the rest of his life in prison.
Dole was treated worse by the guards because he used to be a police officer and that he had betrayed the force to work with Kyle. In their minds, Dole was scum and maybe they were right. He regretted joining with Kyle because he wouldn't be in jail if he had just ignored Kyle. Dole tried to plead insanity because it was a possibility that he was crazy but sadly, they didn't classify Dole as mentally unstable. He didn't bother with a trail, knowing full well that there was so much evidence against him that a trail was pointless.
When Robbins had last visited him, she had told him she was moving out of state and that he would probably never see her again. It was as if she had ripped his heart right out and threw it on the ground and stomped on it. Why would she leave and hope to never see him again? He loved Robbins and wished that things were different. If he hadn't joined Kyle then he could have tried to win her heart. He didn't ask why she was leaving, nor did he really care. He just hated that he probably wouldn't see her again. Why was he so stupid? Sure, he loved the feeling of kidnapping at the time, but at what price? Never seeing the woman he loved again?
"I'm so sorry," He had muttered to himself as Robbins left him forever.
Dole was doing his one hundred pushups for the days when a guard came in and handed him a piece of paper, saying that this had come in the mail for him. He wondered who it could have been from because he didn't really have anyone else in his life that cared about him. He opened the envelope and it read:
"To Dole, Hello my friend, I am writing to you because I'm going to get you out of that hell hole. You must be patient for me though. I have a plan and everything must be planned out and completed at a certain time. I will write to you and update you with the plan and how and when it will happen but it won't be soon. Hang in there though, I promise you that you will get out of there.
Remember, nothing can hold back me and since you are my loyal partner, nothing can hold you back either. The guards there are so clueless that you may just be able to walk out of there by yourself. Anyways, be expecting my letter in the future and I can't wait to work with you again and continue my plan that will make both of us extremely happy. Your friend and partner, Kyle."
Dole couldn't help but smile at the letter. He no longer cared about anything but escaping. Kyle had contacted him and still believed he was the bad person that he had once been. And since he had nothing else in his life to be good for, maybe he would just become bad for good this time. The thought of killing someone made his heart started to race. He had a lot of thinking to do before Kyle sent him another letter.
He was going to see Robbins again, no matter what because wherever she is, Kelly will be there. He knew Robbins would never leave Kelly's side. Dole planned to escape with Kyle and he will get the Robbins and Kyle will get Kelly and be with them forever and always. No one would stop Kyle therefore, no one would stop Dole.
