The dream about when you were gone happened exactly as it came to pass
And all my childish fears of how i'd be weren't a fuss
You were the best one best friend i never knew i had
But i didn't know i'd need you this much when i'm sad
I remember when i said the last goodbye
I only said that goodbye because i knew i'd see you again as the day went by
If i had known it was the last goodbye ever
I wouldn't have let me go, i'd have done myself a favor
Your hardwork captivated me to do better
When i was sick, Jesus and you made me better
Its just like yesterday when i saw your face
Funny how i can picture us on the table saying grace
A great woman you were, superwoman
Super mama you made sunshine when they was no sun
All the virtues you instilled in me
The things that the world is blind to that you made me see
I'll never forget them, I'll never forget you
And the secrets we shared, no one has a clue
My mama, my sweet mama, to lose i couldn't afford
Yet i know you're in a better, otherwise best place with the Lord
The way you always taught me how to pray
Everyday i pray for you and love you everyday
Just like a star crossed my sky
I made a wish, let you go as i said goodbye
And i looked up and smiled because i know you looking down at me
And i said, my superwoman, see the woman you've made out of me
