Your love is like a lost farmer
You toil the land and plant the seed
When you realize it's not summer
The wrong season has it named a weed
You cut it down
Your love is like watching a movie
You're intrigued by the starring
When he dies
You find no point in watching
You shut it down
Your love is like peter
You walk on water
Your faith deters
You lose your faith
You push it out
Don't you see the ideas you put in my head
One moment I'm happy being alone,
The next you give me hope
Then you shut me out
And I'm left standing there
Burning fuming emulsified
When my love is like a rainbow
You bring night n turn it into darkness
When my love is like a rocket
I fly up, you shoot me down
Yet each time you pick up from where you left off before you shot me down
I'm waiting for the day I'll compose myself enough to just walk away from this experiment
