Soldiered on not knowing what i wanted
You reap what you sow and sorrow is what i planted
Everyday i smiled at you i didn't care about you
I acted selfishly and carelessly its true
Indeed i'm a good actress, not am I?
Tick tock and the time went by
When i was there with you i should have been there
When i smiled at you, i should have really cared
When i kissed you in the rain
I should have killed your pain
And now that you're gone, i'm the one to blame
Don't feel bad that you let go a good girl
It wasn't you, it was me with the damaged heart it was swirl
Be happy that you are free to find someone who loves you
Because i'm not that girl and i'm sorry to admit that i felt nothing for you
I have a broken and damaged heart
For it to be mended and whole we have to be apart
