Chapter 1

"Camz, Help me!" Lauren screamed. She was about to fall from a tree. Camila ran up to her. She held her hands up and said "Jump Lolo jump!" "Are you Crazy" Lauren yelled at her. "Trust me Laur i can catch you" Camila said.

Lauren had think about it for a minute. And jumped on Camila. She landed on top of Camila and started laughing. Camila joined her.

They got up and started running to their mothers. who were enjoying their Picnic snack. "I want an icecream" Camila said "yeah me too, mommy?" Lauren asked. "Sure honey" sinuhe replied. She gave them money and camila sprinted to the ice cream truck yelling at lauren "last one to the ice cream is a loser " And started running. "NOT ME" lauren ran to catch up with her

Only when she arrived she saw Camila getting pushed by some boy. "I was here first" he screamed. She saw Camila crying. "I have to do something" she thought. She walked casually to the boy and said to him "Hey, I saw an unicorn up there!" She pointed up the hills. "Let's take a look!" The boy believed her and ran to the hills.

She however stayed there. She saw that Camila was still crying. She helped her up. And looked her in the eyes. "lolo, thank you." "Thank me with an ice cream!" Lauren giggled. Camila giggled along and got them two vanilla ice cream.

They sat down and enjoyed their company. Camila noticed Lauren staring at her. "What?" She asked. "Camz,will you always remember me? Even when you're old and teethless?" Lauren asked. Camila smiled "I'll never forget you lolo even when I'm old and toothless " giggled Camila

"Pinky promise?" Asked Lauren holding out her tiny pinky

"What is that?" Camila looked at her all confused

"You link your pinky along with mine and you never break that promise,okay?" Smiled lauren

"Okay! I promise to love and remember Lauren even when I'm old and teethless" she held her head up high and smiled genuinely.

Lauren couldn't help but smile at her happy face as she tackled her into a hug.

"Hey!! Get off lolo" chuckled Camila pushing Lauren gently off her body so she could sit up properly.

"Hey I deserve a hug for shooing that boy off" said Lauren not budging

"Fine!'' Giggled Camila snuggling into Lauren and holding her tight as if the world was going to end any second now she closed her eyes as she felt herself melt into the embrace. Lauren was her little world and she would never let go until the very end.

*Now*
How could she? She moved away when we were 10 years old leaving everything behind... Their promises...their dreams as if it meant nothing to her!. But she never contacted me. I thought she was my best friend... she made new friends and just didn't need me anymore. but even after those 7 years my heart skipped beats when I read her message.

After 7 years and I am mad at her but I can't help but smile at her words. I couldn't help but text her back.

MiamiCutie: Hey! How could I forget? Camila.

Camila cabello: oh wow! I had a bet with myself that you wouldn't remember me and it would be super awkward hehe.

MiamiCutie:"I guess we have a lot of catching up to do but its been a long day so...."

CamilaCabello:Yeah? Tell me all about it!

MiamiCutie: That's not what I meant....I'm tired camila. I'm tired!

CamilaCabello: Oh...I guess I'll leave you to it then... good night!

Lauren couldn't help but smile at how camila is still the adorable dork but she's got a lot of explaining to do. Her eyes suddenly felt heavy as she started to reminisce her childhood memories.

"Camila...." Lauren whispered as if it was a secret that was locked inside her heart forever.
