Lauren POV

That's when I felt a warm hand on my shoulders.

*continued*

I turned back and saw Normani giving me an sympathizing look. "Don't look at me like that." I pushed her hand off and walked away frustrated.

"Lauren!" She yelled and walked towards me quickly "Look at you like what?" She grabbed my hand forcing me to look at her.

"Like I need help" I sighed.

"Lauren... babe...." She pulled me into a tight hug. "Look at me!" I looked into her beautiful brown eyes "Don't you ever make those eyes tear up! These beautiful eyes of yours should portray love and confidence. You don't need help! But right now you need support and I'm here."

"Mani...I don't know what to do...." I started but was interrupted by Mani "It's fine if you don't do, idiot!" Mani giggled and pinched my cheeks "It's gonna get better" she pulled me into a hug.

Authors POV

*During break*
"So let me get this straight." Bea moved her chair towards Lauren while Lauren was busy texting Camila with a smile on her face.

Bea cleared her throat but Lauren was in her own world. Normani groaned and grabbed Lauren's phone away which made Lauren pout.

"Lauren, Bea was asking you a question." Normani chuckled and handed Lauren her phone back.
"As I was saying" Bea continued "Camila is your childhood sweetheart!"Lauren nodded while checking her messages.

"She's in LA now?" Bea asked. Lauren sighed and nodded again.

"And you're not even looking at me!" Bea scolded Lauren. "Uhu." Lauren nodded not realizing it.

"Oh you're dead!" Bea grabbed Lauren's phone and started going through her messages.

"HEY! GIVE IT BACK!" Lauren yelled got up from her place quickly and walked towards Bea's chair.

"OH WOW SHE'S HOT" Bea exclaimed putting her hand on her chest showing a shocked expression and Lauren took this as an opportunity  and took her phone back.

"I thought you were straight, Bea" Lauren giggled and puts her phone into her jean pocket.
"I am! But damn girl! I'd flip my pancake for that" Bea showed a thumbs up sign.

This made Normani and Lauren laugh out loud.

Suddenly Lauren felt a vibration and the text made her heart flutter.

"Honestly, I think something is going on." Normani whispered into Bea's ear while Bea munched on her sandwich.

Camila_Cabello: Hey! I'm at school now and we got a free period so I thought I could text you! 💗

Miamicutie: Yeah sure! I'm glad you saved me from my pack of weirdos.😂

Lauren looked over from her phone and laughed to herself when she saw Bea and Normani fighting over who is the queen of pop.

"It's Beyoncé" yelled Normani.

"Mariah!" Bea countered.

Camila_Cabello: 😂😂😂😂, So how's school?

Miamicutie: I don't want to kill myself yet so it's going okay.

Camila_Cabello: Yikes! You exaggerate too much 😂

Miamicutie: Who do you think is the queen of pop? Mariah Carey or Beyoncé?

Camila_Cabello: Beyoncé,  DUH!
