Ok, so basically this virus slams down the core first because in my own opinion, sure they can handle the stress and burden of being the majority of the combiner, but fuck that they're probably prone to get sick quicker than others for being that strained for long periods of time [bonus if said core pushes them self too far]

Symptoms basically include that of hallucinations in both thought pattern and delusions in optic sensors, eventually wearing them down to some helmaches and exhaustion [bad bad bad if you're in battle like that]
