[Rant/Headcanons Too] Shapeshifter OCs

Well let's talk here.

What do all canon Shapeshifters have in common?

-Dark/Monotonous Armor
-Bright Optics
-Shapeless Yet Have A Shape
-NO DEFINED KIBBLE WHATSOEVER

They don't have much of an identity whatsoever. They don't. In terms of physical looks, they can be anything they scan.

So why... Why is it that I see Shapeshifter OCs with freaking color schemes and all?

THEY. DON'T. HAVE. COLOR SCHEMES.

I'm really sorry if I'm being picky here, it's just that, making a shapeshifter OC is pretty much you being on a fine line of making an OP character. You're making a character that can shapeshift into anything. ANYTHING. 

So PLEASE just try to make your Shapeshifter OC follow the basics of the rest of the Shapeshifters we've seen.

And no, I don't think Shockwave from TFA can be considered a Shapeshifter, because he's actually a Size-Changer as dubbed by the TFWiki

NOW. Onto the headcanons :3

-Shapeshifters as the majority worship Amalgamous Prime since in the legends he is the first Shapeshifter in existence

-They're pretty notorious pranksters too when they're aren't on duty, however, it's really up to each on what they consider to be a prank

-They're all built not created

-Every once in awhile, a shapeshifter would clear up their database in order to rescan, because too much scanning information can cause an overload and a serious damage to the psyche of the shapeshifter, even an identity crisis of what is left of their personality identity

-They can't exactly pull off strange modes... Like, they can't do a winged lion. That's impossible. They can, however, take on a lion, then shift into a giant vulture after scanning said vulture
