2 days passed by since my encounter with Heinrich Oliver freaking Barret.
On the bright side, I grew close to Dylan, Daisy and Mark. We would have fun in the cafeteria talking about nothing and laughing about everything.
That was until today, when I saw another person I didn't want to have to see ever again.
I was walking the corridors with Dylan because we had the same class for our next period, when I saw her.
I saw Dylan glance at me with a worried look on his face, but I couldn't be bothered especially when she was leaning against the lockers so casually talking to Mark.
Dylan gave me a look that said "don't do it" but I had to. I had to save Mark from HER.
I walked up to them and casually placed my hand on Mark's shoulder. "Hey Mark!" I greeted him and placed a cheek on his shoulder.
DON'T GET ME WRONG, I only see Mark as a brother, nothing else. Heavens forbid that I would have feelings for him. It's just that I would do anything to protect him from HER. Especially from HER.
Mark turned to look at me with a bewildered look on his face. I gave him a glare that said "just go along with it" and then turned to smile at HER as if I had just noticed her presence.
"Oh hi Lilly! Didn't see you there" I said as casually as possible, faking my smile.
"Jennifer?!" she exclaimed, her eyes widened in shock.
Déjà vu anyone?
"In the flesh" I said, smiling sweetly. Maybe a little too sweetly.
"You... you look different" was all Lilly managed to say. "You look pretty much the same" I told her. What I meant by that is that she still looked like a boyfriend stealer and best friend backstabber.
"So Mark, shouldn't we be going to our next class?" I asked him smoothly, gripping his arm. I saw him wince in pain and he nodded weakly. I saw Lilly glance at Mark and then at me as if putting two and two together.
"I didn't know you had a boyfriend" Lilly muttered. I saw that Mark was about to protest but I pinched his back to keep him from saying anything.
"See you around Lilly" I said and dragged Mark towards Dylan. "What was that all about?!" Mark exclaimed. "What was what all about?" Dylan asked, looking confused. He looks so cute when... NO! SNAP OUT OF IT!
"I did it for your own good" I told Mark, ignoring Dylan's question.
"You didn't have to pretend that you were my girlfriend!!!" Mark said loudly.
"You did what?!" Dylan exclaimed at the same time, did he sound... hurt? Not possible.
"I'll explain everything later but for now we have to get to class" I promised them, or at least I promised to Mark.
Before either of them said anything else I turned around and started to walk towards my next class.
Dylan ran up to me and held my hand, I gave him a questioning look but he stared straight ahead as we walked.
A/n hi guys... So Uhmmm.. A friend of mine dared me to do this. Why, I wouldn't know. So, the dare was to let you guys ask me any question you want that isn't too personal and I'll have to answer as honestly as I can.
Now if you're going to be asking about HIM (you people know who you are) please use a code name, Tnx.
I am at your mercy dear readers.
Stay cool!-Sammy Samuels
