A meteor crashes on Earth wiping everything out.

The End.

Is that a good enough ending? Can I stop writing now? No? Fine...

"EMILY!!! It's so good to see you" I practically yelled.

We hugged each other in greeting.

"So... what's up?" She asked.

I was bursting to tell her everything that's happened but I didn't want to drop a bomb on her after not seeing her for so long.

"Nothing much" I stated casually. "You liar! Tell me everything...now!" Emily demanded.

"If I remember correctly I'm older than you..."

"I don't care about our age difference right now, just spill the beans!"

I stared at her for a moment before bursting out laughing.

"What? Why are you laughing?" She asked, bewildered at my sudden outburst.

"Nothing, I just miss this" I admitted, a few giggles escaping my mouth.

Emily grinned "well, I do too, but can you pleaseeee just update me on your life?"

I huffed in exasperation "fine..."

Emily clapped her hands in excitement and stared at me expectantly, waiting for me to begin.

"Well...you know Greg and Ysa? Seems like they're official now if you catch my drift."

"REALLY?!" She gasped in surprise "I never would have thought..."

I snorted "That's news to me because we all knew that they would end up together, they're basically PERFECT FOR EACH OTHER ( ;) )"

Emily smiled "I'm so happy for them".

"Me too" I sighed happily. "As great as that is to hear, I wanted to hear stuff about that happened in YOUR life Jenny" she said.

"What are you talking about? I'm a part of that, my whole life was invested in them getting together" I joked.

"Jenny..." Emily warned.

"Ok fine, so you know how I had a crush on Dylan?" I started.

"Yeah...?"

"Well, I think... no... I know, that I've moved on"

"Wasn't that already clear from the start?" She asked, confused.

"Oh, I don't think I told you but I guess Dylan and I are sort of... dating at the moment?" I told her hesitantly.

"WHAT?!" She basically yelled.

"Shh...not so loud" I shushed her, wary of the people staring at us.

"You don't like him anymore but you guys are sort of dating?" She whisper yelled.

"I guess, I don't really know what I feel about him right now. Everything is just so complicated I mean, he talks to me but only because he wants to and whenever I talk to him he seems to... ignore me" I explained "and we don't really have a clear status on our relationship, so maybe along the way I kind of, lost my feelings for him"

"I don't think it's fair of you to string him along" Emily pointed out.

I sighed, I felt the exact same way about it.

"I just... I think I need to clear my head and my feelings . This is all so damn confusing. I feel like I'm in highschool all over again"

"So tell Dylan honestly that you want to stay friends for the moment and say exactly what you just said to me as an explanation" Emily said.

I smiled faintly at her "who's the elder one between us again?"

"Hmm... pretty sure it's me" she winked.

I laughed and bumped her shoulder as a sign of thanks.

"Anything else that you want to get off of your chest?" Emily asked.

"There's this guy..."

"IS HE THE REAL REASON WHY YOU WANT TO BREAK IT OFF WITH DYLAN???" She gasped

"What? Nonono!" I defended "His name is Bryan and Dylan thinks that I like Bryan but I really dont, and if I break off whatever it is that Dylan have between us I'm afraid that he'll think it's because of Bryan"

"I can't say that your way of thinking isn't true because that exactly what I thought" Emily said sheepishly .

"Thanks for the vote of confidence" I muttered.

"I'm sure you'll find a way to deal with all of this" she smiled reassuringly.

I nodded, not knowing what else to say about the topic.

"So, what about you? What's new in your life?" I asked, generally curious about what she'd been up to for the past few years.

"Ahh well you know, I guess you could say that I'm sort... dating someone too?"

"Who's the lucky guy?!" I exclaimed. "Is it J-"

"Nope" she cut me off before I could even finish his full name.

"Definitely not Lloyd huh?" I asked. "Who's that?" She questioned.

"You don't remember?" I asked sceptically.

"Nope, in fact I don't think any of your readers do ;) " she said.

"Readers? Huh? Never mind about that, so who is it? What's his name? What's he like?"
I shot question after question.

"His name is Kian and he is very nice and sweet to me. I don't think I've felt this way about anyone before" she sighed dreamily.

"Talk about key-an to your heart. Get it? Key to your heart?" I joked.

Emily blushed and slapped me on the arm. "Ow..." I complained before winking at her.

I was about to say something else until Emily's phone started ringing.

She pulled it out of her bag and blushed deeply when she saw who was calling her.

Take a guess.

"It was so nice to see you again Jennifer but I have to go now" she told me regretfully.

I nodded, understanding the situation.

We hugged goodbye and I whispered " say hi to your boyfriend for me" before running away.

"JENNIFER SHIRE COME BACK HERE!" I heard Emily yell, but I just laughed gleefully as I sprinted further and further away from her.

Now to deal with Dylan.
