(That edit is NOT mine fyi)

He had been in a rush that morning.

He had showered and prepped and changed the fastest he ever had. He had an important meeting that day and was late from the get-go.

So she hadn't even been really awake to say goodbye to him.

There he was in yet another boring Stark Industries meeting. It was something about the stock market or something like that.

But the meeting was drawn to a close due to an unmarked ship being crashed into the tower.

He stood, naturally taking the lead out of the frightened workers.

He moved them carefully out of the way, they were his employees after all.

He worked his way to the floor via stairs to find a man standing there. He had odd skin engravings, piercings, brands.

It began speaking in an alien language.

He approached it carefully, before the alien took notice and went after Tony.

The alien fought Tony head on, before diving out the window and taking Tony with him.

They were falling and falling quick to the street below.

Of course, in his rush, Tony had forgotten to pack a suit or arm with a repulser with him.

The alien let go of the billionaire, and sprouted wings. He carried himself to safety.

But Tony stopped falling.

She was in one of his extra suits, and saved him.

It was very unlikely, due to the fact he had them all locked up because they're considered weapons of war.

"Hey baby," she greeted, giggling and carrying him to a rooftop.

"Thanks Gracie," he mumbled, still focused on the fight.

"What was that thing?" She questioned, stepping out of the blue suit so he could use it.

"No clue."

"He looked like an angel," she stated. He hovered above.

"Trust me, he is anything but," he zoomed off to find the alien.

When he found the angelic-demon, they were engaged into a full-out war.

Tony gripped the wings and forced him down, towards the empty street. The body had torn through cement, down and down. It was stopped by some foundational beam, and Tony stood in the rubble.

Just when he thought it was dead, the angel awakened and pulled him up through the sky.

He dropped him, again.

Tony's repulsers and fuels had been broken and leaked in the last collision, meaning he couldn't save himself.

There he was, falling to his death a second time. He was panicking, anxiety seized his body.

Again, he stopped falling.

He looked to the one that saved him, it was James Rhodes.

"Thanks," he said awkwardly.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm always saving your ass," He rolled his eyes.

They landed on the ground.

Right in the tousled cement, the cracked pavement, the shaken foundation, lay the angelic alien.

"How'd he die?" Tony asked.

Down came a third suit of armor, bearing Grace's shining grin.

"Look at me, saving you boys, again."

"Where'd you get the third suit?" James asked.

She pressed a button and the suit retracted into a small metal disk. She pocketed it.

"Don't think for a second you two are the only ones that get cool gadgets," she crossed her arms.

I'm trying to update more regularly, so from now on it'll be better.
