A/N: this little chapter is all christmas-themed. please do not get defensive. i am not taking this at the religious standpoint, it's just the sweet, mushy-cushy stuff for the holiday. please remember that aside from one religion's Savior being born, christmas is a time for love, happiness, prosperity, and family.

have a great holiday and remember to spread love. God knows this world needs more of it.

Steve

"Merry Christmas all!" she yelled joyously. She pulled her ugly sweatshirt on over her tank top as she entered the living room. Everyone was here, smiling and drinking cocoa.

"Where's Steve?" she asked after she didn't see him.

"Market, I think," Natasha stated.

"In this weather? I'm going to go find him," she stated.

"Stay warm, Gracie!" Tony called as she hurried to the elevator, pulling her coat on. She fixed her scarf and gloves and started down the floors.

She reached the street and hurried down the snowy sidewalk, towards the markets.

Busy, last-minute shoppers were in a spree everywhere. But everyone was happy. It made her smile, this was her favorite part: the joy.

She hurried down every row of vendors, trying to find her guy. He was nowhere.

She frowned.

Out of no where, two strong arms wrapped themselves around her waist. They spun her in the air, bringing her down to face him.

"Steve!" she chirped.

"Hey baby, Merry Christmas," he planted a warm kiss on her forehead. She gripped his coat, pulling him close and kissing him more.

"Merry Christmas!" she said happily, he hugged her to keep her warm.

He wrapped an arm around her and they started home-bound. Later on, she found out why he was at the market. A furry dog was delivered hours later, soft and snowy from the outdoors.

Bucky

It'd taken a while for Bucky to adjust to regular life, well regular life as an Avenger. But he was in Christmas-Spirit as soon as the month changed.

So it was no surprise the first thing to happen on Christmas day was for him to come to her room with a tray of breakfast, and a sweet Christmas kiss.

"Merry Christmas, Gracie," he chimed, waking her softly. She sat up in the bed as he set the tray on her lap and sat next to her.

"Merry Christmas, Buck. I love you."

"I love you too," a light danced in his eyes.
