Hey guys. I've been seeing a bunch of threads about 'Banning Stockholm Syndrome/ Rape Glorification Stories'. I just want to take the time out to say that this is in no way, shape, or form a rape glorification/ abuse/ fall in love with kidnapper/ Stockholm Syndrome story. Sure some victims do experience Stockholm Syndrome but it's rare; it can happen, but it's rare. Ava is not experiencing this. She is a victim and Ian is the abuser. This is a kidnapped/ stalked/ forced to live with kidnapper story. This story does have a deeper meaning and it does have a plot not surrounded by rape/torture. So if you haven't realized, I'm not glorifying it. In fact, I try to understand/ or empathize with the victim(s). Although I haven't experienced something as severe and terrible as this, I do know that it's not a pleasant experience to go through. I want you guys to take more from this story other than 'Ian abused and raped Ava'. I want to tell people that no matter what you go through or have been through you're stronger than you think you are. Sure, she doesn't deserve this but SOMETIMESbad things happen to good people. And believe or not, good things can come from bad situations. I want you to sympathize with Ava, not say 'She's so lucky to have Ian because he loves her.' He doesn't love her guys. He's saying that because in his twisted mind he thinks he's protecting her/ and does think he loves her.

I know some may not agree with me but I really hope you can try to understand. And the more you read the more you'll see what this book is really about. Please don't be quick to report this because of the heavy content. To be honest, that's why I put a warning in the beginning. Don't get me wrong, I know some of you aren't glorifying it and for that I thank you. I'm only writing this for those who are thinking Ian is good or really does love Ava. I am truly sorry to those I offend or have offended. That is not my intention and I'm sincerely sorry. I write because I love to write. It's a hobby for me so when I put my hard work, time, and effort into this it's for a purpose. Like I've said before, I try to write quality work so this story does have a plot/ purpose. I'm not an evil person for writing this and I hope you all don't think I am.
