Okay I think I've just written one of my favorite chapters in this book. Enjoy Chapter 36. Vote, comment, fan :D

A few hours later I feel the car stopping so I open my eyes. Yawning, I wake to look out of the window and my mouth hangs open in shocked surprise when I see my parents house. It's a two story home with black shutters and deep red brick walls. The black 'welcome' sign hangs on the red door and the white lillies and roses make the outside more appealing. Dana must have given him the directions. I turn to a grinning Jared on the passenger side with the door open and his hand extended. 

"Ladies first." I smile as I place my hand in his and exit the vehicle.

But before we can approach the door I stop Jared. He gives me a puzzled expression so I speak timidly, "I'm nervous."  

His confusion turns to concern as his face inches closer to mine. Our eyes meet before our foreheads touch and I feel an instant heat warm my cheeks when he places a stray hair behind my ear. I feel his cool breath on my skin as he chuckles lightly from seeing me blush. 

"You thought I was going to kiss you, didn't-" My lips greeting his cuts him off and I even shock myself when I close my eyes. I don't know why I was hoping for him to reject me or stop me, but as we stayed like that for a few seconds all of those hopes went out the window. I was ready for him to kiss me. I was longing for his soft kiss and gentle touch. And it's as if he's thinking the same thing because his hands wrap around the small of my back as mine go from his shoulders to around his neck in response. I have to stand on my tip toes but I don't mind because kissing him makes me warm inside. His lips are soft like cotton and fit mine like a glove. It's as if he's the missing piece of me.

We embrace tighter and his tongue is the first to react by licking my bottom lip. I open my mouth as we tongue kiss and I'm hit with a powerful sensation of warmth, happiness, and love. He sucks on my lower lip causing me to moan with pleasure. I feel him smile against my lips before he pulls away from me. A sense of disappoint washes over me but it quickly disappears when he speaks,

"You." He finishes as our foreheads continue to touch and our breathing stays light and steady. As I look at his smiling full lips upward I literally drown in the deep blue ocean of his shining eyes.

"Ahem." Dana fake coughs and he holds me tighter when I try to spread  us apart. "Are you guys going to suck face all night or what?" She stands in front of us with her arms folded and a bored expression on her face. If there was an award for the best "moment ruiner" then she would win hands down.

We get to the door and Dana is the first to knock but the nervous feeling overpowers me again so I back away slowly. Jared grabs me from behind and presses me against his chest."It's okay Ava, I'm here." He says to me and this small action combined with his gentle words are surprisingly calming, so I stay in his strong arms until the door opens.

It feels as though time has stopped while my mom stares at me in shock. Her eyes are small and hazel while her nose is small like mine. A few strands of gray show on the top of her auburn hair and I can only conclude that she's been stressed. From the outside she looks much older than 36 but I guess that's what happens when stress and worry attacks a person. They start to die a little on the inside and it carries through to the outer apperance as well.
