LOUIS

April, 2016

Every time Louis left his therapist's office, he felt a little lighter than he did when he went in, but at the same time, he always felt a whirlwind of emotions running through his body that he couldn't fully grasp.

It was probably strange, and he had even told the therapist about it, and she said it was normal to feel like that, especially after having discussed a lot of different topics in a single session.

This latest one though, had mostly centered on the main reason why Louis had even started therapy, which lead to the frozen embryos thing, which he had told the therapist about a few sessions ago, but they hadn't talked much about it until that day. And of course they had a lot to discuss, like Niall offering to be a surrogate, and the reason why Louis didn't want to use the embryos, and even the fact that Louis had yet to tell Harry they even existed.

That last thing, was actually eating him up, he knew he had to tell Harry, but he was afraid that maybe he had already waited too long, and Harry was not only going to be disappointed that he didn't want to use the embryos, but he was also going to hate him.

Yet, when he left therapy that day, he was determined to come clean soon, because their relationship was supposed to be based on trust, and right now, Louis was betraying that trust.

The therapist's office was in the city, only a few blocks away from his own office, and also from Harry's, which was where he was heading right now. Even before he had decided to come clean to Harry, he had decided to go there to see if his boyfriend wanted to have dinner out; they hadn't really spent any time alone together since Ruby was born, so he thought they deserved that for a change, sort of like a date.

It was almost 6 when he got to the Coffee vs. Tea headquarters, which was usually the time Harry went home, but the office's receptionist (who was getting ready to leave), told him he was still there, so he went ahead and made his way through the office.

As he walked, he realized there weren't many people still working, which Louis wasn't surprised about, because Harry was a good boss, and he never made anyone stay past office hours, unless they wanted to, obviously.

When he got to his destination, Harry's secretary wasn't at her desk, probably having already left, and he peeked through the glass door, and saw his handsome boyfriend siting at his desk and typing on his computer, a cute frown on his face.

"Hey" Louis said, after he opened the door.

"Hey" Harry smiled widely at him when he saw him, and immediately stood up to go towards him "This is a nice surprise".

"Yeah?" Louis asked, just now realizing Harry might not like him showing up at his office unannounced.

"Of course" Harry replied, and gave him a kiss on the lips.

Louis smiled, and pecked his lips back.

"Are you okay?" Harry wondered, he had his hand on Louis' cheek "You look like you've been crying".

"I'm fine, I just got a little emotional in therapy" Louis explained.

"Right, it's Tuesday, I forgot" Harry said in understanding "So how was it?".

"Good" Louis said honestly.

"Yeah?".

"Mhmm".

"But you cried" Harry said, not sounding too convinced.

"Yeah, but that's part of the healing process, you know?" said Louis.

"Not really, but if you say it is, and if it's helping you, then I guess it's okay" Harry replied.
