Lucinda and I woke up early in the morning and we went to collect some herbs for potions. We need them for our trip on the boat. Katelyn told Lucinda to make some sort of potion so she doesn't throw up.
I kind of want to learn how to make potions and witchcraft. It is usually frowned upon to be a witch in the village but witches actually help a lot of people. Actually my life has been saved by Lucinda more than once. She doesn't usually fight but when she does she can take down and entire army with her potions and staff.
It's actually really cool to watch. But anyway we managed to find all of the herbs we need so we walk back to the camp site. The sun has just started to rise so hopefully no one will be awake just yet.
Lucinda and I put down our baskets and she walks onto the boat. She is going to her room so she can get her potions book. There is this thing about how you can't use all plants, only ones in certain shapes. I don't really understand but it's a witch thing.
I feel arms wrap around my waist and I freeze in place.
"Where were you?" A husky voice whispers
"Jeffory?" I ask
"Correct, now my question" he states
"I went herb collecting with Lucinda" I reply
"I was worried" he whispers in my ear
"Jeffory, it's to early for this" I giggle managing to push him off of me
I walk up to the boat and I go to my room. I want to make sure I have everything ready to go so I can help packing today. We are finally setting off to find the treasure and I am shaking with excitement.
When we have had breakfast I go to the beach and I wake up Katelyn. She slept through breakfast and I know that she is going to be so angry that no one woke her up. Lucinda and Katelyn fought over how to make potions correctly and Lucinda told me not to wake her up early.
When Katelyn has finished yelling and we finally gave her some food we start loading the things onto the boat. Katelyn and Nicole are still fighting with the nobles who is stronger. Surprisingly Cadenza is stronger than all of them.
"What? Carrying shopping bags and fabric rolls are really heavy" Cadenza shrugs
When we have finished packing everything I go to McCloud sort out the final route we are taking. We are going across and ice line. We might hit and iceberg so that means we will all die. Ok maybe that's a bit drastic but it's true.
We lift up the anchor and McCloud stats steering us out to sea. I look over the edge to see if there is any ice yet. I don't know why but I feel that if we hit ice our trip will be even more epic.
I go downstairs to Lucinda's room. I want to help her make her posting. I knock on her door.
"Come in!" I hear her say
"Hey Lucinda" I say opening the door "I want fi help you with your potions, may I?"
"Of course" she says smiling
She shows me her potion book and asks me to sort through the plants. She needs blue lotus. Just as I am about to grab it I remember that red lotus and yellow lotus are very poisonous.
