In all towns there are thieves. So what will happen when all the lords children come to Phoenix Drop and Aphmau and her group of thieves decide that they want to steal from them? What would happen if the lords children fell in love with her by accid...
Cloud and I are still walking to the dining room. The gardens are really big. It's been about ten minutes and he keeps scaring me by suddenly speaking. It is so easy to forget that he is here when I can't see him.
We finally enter the dining room and Garte is already glaring at me.
"You're late" he says
"I'm sorry, I was doing something..... important" I say mysteriously
"Like what?" He asks
Suddenly a spoon is dropped next to him and he screams a very high pitched scream. Garroth, Zane and Vylad snicker and I smile
"What did you do?" Garte asks me
"Nothing, I'm on the opposite side of the room" I say sitting down next to Laurance and Garroth
I start to eat and everyone joins in. We talk and talk about everything we have done for all of today. Cloud continues to mess with Garte and I can barley hold in my laughter. I have to pass it off as a cough.
Laurance looks at me with suspicion and I cease my coughing.
"What?" I ask
"What were you doing in the garden" he asks curiously
"Nothing much, just finding new things about the garden" I smile
He smiles back but look a bit confused. Garte eventually yells out of frustration. He stands up and storms over to me grabbing me by the neck and lifting me up.
"W-what are you doing?" I manage to choke out
"What I should have done a long time ago" he says wiht his hand getting tighter
I know how to get out of a choke hold but there is a feeling in the back of my head saying that I shouldn't. I feel him being ripped off of me but no one is there. Everyone is still sitting down in shock. I know it was cloud.
Garte is knocked out cold and I stand up.
"I'm going to my room" I whisper and dash out of the dining room
I open up the door to my room and rest my head in my bed while sitting in the floor. I start to sob. I have never hesitated to defend myself so why did I now? I hear a soft knocking at the door and I wipe my tears. I tell them to come in and Cloud walks in.
"Thank you" I say hugging him
"Don't worry about it, I just did what anyone would do" he says
I suddenly feel him tickle me on the sides and I can't help bursting out into laughter. I try to push him off of me but he won't budge. I use my training to flip him over and I run to the bay window.
"Catch me if you can" I yell
He turns invisible and I grab some blush from my makeup draw that I don't use. I open it and blow around me. The blush sticks to him and he looks shocked for a second and then he runs at me.
Laurance's P.O.V.
I'm walking down the hallway to Aph's room to see if she is ok after what just happened when I can hear laughter coming from her room. I knock on the door and hear a 'come in'. I open the door and Aphmau is sitting down on her bed.
"Hey Aphmau what's going on?" I ask her
"Just gathering my after what just happened" she says
"I heard laughter" I say
She stands up and walks over to her dresser. She looks in the mirror and then at me.
Aphmau's P.O.V.
I can't let Laurance know about Cloud because Cloud isn't ready to be seen by everyone.
"Tell me, do these marks around my neck look bad?" I ask Laurance
"What? No of course not" he replies "They look sore though"
Suddenly we hear a sneeze and I turn to see Cloud visible and sneezing.
"WHO THE NETHER ARE YOU?!" Laurance asks
"Cloud, and I think I got some blush up my nose" he says
"Get out of Aphmau's room" Laurance says pointing his sword at Cloud
I step in between the, before anyone gets stabbed or turned into a toad.
"Laurance let him go, I said he can be here" I state
"Who is he?" Laurance asks
"My name is Cloud, I'm a sorcerer. The potion room that you discovered is mine" Cloud explains "Don't tell anyone about me"
Cloud grabs my arm and we walk out to the garden.
Laurance's' P.O.V.
The sorcerer? From the potion room? Oh my Irene I can't believe that it's him. Aphmau knew, but I don't think she would have wanted to keep that secret from us. Maybe he told her something. I watch them leave and I mentally feel Aphmau slipping away from me. I close my eyes and I promise myself that I won't let someone else have Aphmau. But I want her to be in love with me so I don't want to force her into anything.
Aphmau's P.O.V.
Cloud and I are I the potion room and we are working on the invisibility potion. He explains that moon dust is used to make thinks invisible so maybe adding more will take away the fuzzy outline. He adds it in and states that we will have to wait a few hours before it to finish.
While we wait we drink some tea and talk about the encounter we just had with Laurance, I'm still upset about what happened with Garte but I've been through sores. I had to sit through Ross explaining why boats should be made out of stone and not wood.
Cloud gives me a potion for my neck and I rub it on.

The pain stops and the red starts to fade.
"What was that?" I ask
"A potion made out of witches fingers and lions blood, it's used for pain management" he explains
"Ewww that's gross" I giggle
We sit there laughing for the rest of the night and I am feeling so happy.
